    Nice! Awesome job!

Really like the elements on Prime. The movie stuff is subtle and it works.

Did you get a look at the TF bible? ;) ... or did I miss something :redface2:

Theres a glimpse of optimus primes page somewheres. I think its in that book "the vault"cant remember. But theres a scan of that little glimpse up on the wiki if you look p "production bible"

Plus the cover art for that upcoming pop up book uses the design too.

Its like a movie + prime-ized version of the deluxe animated optimus toy. I like it xD

I'm currently working on the Hasbro Bible Optimus Prime in TFA style, myself.

I love the style, and the circuitry on his chest windows is a brilliant idea, but is there a reason he's so... bottom-heavy? Also, is that a gun over his right hand, or is something else going on there?

he's got the whole "arm gun" thing goin on with this design too

and im with ya on being a bit bottom heavy! wasnt necessarily intentional :p
after i finished colors i kinda wish i had tweaked the lines digitally to balance stuff out a little bit but. ah well! just a sketch

You'll notice that with all four of the "Hasbro Bible" designs (Jazz, Sideswipe, Bumblebee and Optimus). They're basically G1 + Bayformers + WFC/FOC. Recognizable G1 features, with subtle movieverse elements thrown in and then the TRON-esque lights that basically outline their entire body. And I agree, the chest lights for Optimus - especially since they outline the Matrix - are brilliant.
