The last thing that went through the slow, damaged processor of the mighty lord Megatron before his death, was "This is where gestures of good will get you." Later his parts were launched into space in multiple directions, headed toward the nearest stars so that the remaining Decepticons might never find him. This way he would surely never return again, no matter what mystical Cybertronian relic his defeated followers might find in time. Yet somehow, Megatron's thoughts returned to him. He could see his own body floating beside him, the upper torso a torn open mass of wreckage. A bright light bathed his remains as they floated peacefully in the freezing cold of space. Then there was a voice. A deep voice that somehow invoked fear even in a tyrant with nothing left to lose. "Welcome.... Megatron." Through the flood of questions going through his mind, starting with just where exactly he was and why he was conscious, and the fear of knowing that he was speaking to something far greater than he had ever known, he managed to sound as though he was in charge of everything. "Show yourself!" he said. "Who are you?" "I... am Unicron." the voice rumbled. "I have Summoned you here for a purpose" "Nobody summons Megtron!" "Then it pleases me to be the first..." As he communicated with the entity before him, his one remaining optic adjuster focused through the light, seeing what was before him. The thing had to be literally hundreds, if not thousands of miles away from him, yet it filled most of his field of vision. It was a planet. A world surrounded by rings covered in tiny lights. From between two enormous pincers on what Megatron assumed must be the front of this thing, was the source of the light. They continued to communicate, Megatron finally realizing that he was not speaking with his broken vocal processors, but rather through internal primary processor transmissions. Within a few moments, stubborn though he was at first, Megatron agreed to a deal, although he doubted the monster planet's ability to come through on his end. To his surprise however, his head immediately reconnected as though drawn magnetically. The wires, hydraulics, and circuit connections reassembled themselves and his entire body began to reconfigure itself. Pieces of incredibly strong alien metal sped into the twisting mess that was Megatron's body, and when it was over, he fully awoke, feeling stronger than he ever had before. His mind was again clear, for the first time in so long. There was but one thing left that could give life to a cybertronian spark. One thing left that might possibly restore the remaining 1/3rd of Cybertron that was dead somewhere in space. Yet Megatron no longer cared about any of that. His new goal was to destroy this one last hope, and in doing so, he would have his revenge on Optimus Prime and free reign over the miserable race of humanity. The Matrix of Leadership had to be destroyed. Megatron ... no... Galvatron now, had abandoned his old goals. He would settle for a second chance and the return of his power and dignity. For now at least... The first thing Galvatron did when he got back to earth was take on a powerful and agile flying earth alternate mode. Unfortunately, due to the new alien technology fused with every part of him, his disguise was imperfect. Not a worry though. He had no plans of hiding much anymore... Hope you guys like him and the story! Broken down old truck Megatron who died in the last movie was making me sad, so I wanted to bring him back, but restored to his old powerful self. Using DOTM Skyhammer, a DOTM Megatron, and lots of sculpt and styrene, I put this Galvatron together. I wanted to still clearly see Megatron in him, and left the lower part of the eye scar to remind him of his hatred, but I did give him new face parts for a more crown-like look. In my head, he still has Hugo Weaving's voice too.
Absolutely incredible. Honestly, you've produced an amazing piece. Loved the story too! Now I'm floating between feelings of awe, respect, and quite a hint of jealousy. You should be very proud of yourself, Unicron-9.
@@' GREAT~~~~~~~~~~ when human & autobots thinking earth is safe, there comes the Galvatron!! Decepticons will never give up, rite? hhohoho
Hah thanks so much. Believe it or not this was a quick one nighter I threw together since I have commission parts probably showing up tomorrow. I just didn't let up until he was done. Yep! I imagine Galvatron as more of a silent Terminator type that walks right through gunfire, one-hit-killing Autobots and humans alike with his arm cannon. I'd like to do a movie Cyclonus and Sweep to go with this idea some day.
man you really bet the shit out of this mold. i dunno how you combined the 2 voyagers, but its so damn cool. does he partsform or transform?
This is not what I was expecting when I clicked the title... but thank you for making it so much better than my expectations. Nice job!
Have to agree with s10blazed in that the look isn't what I would have expected but yo, you nailed the story and the custom fits it perfectly! Though I would love for the live action movies to go on forever as long as they are well done, I am totally satisfied with how DotM closed things out and don't feel the need to be in the fan movement to push for more...UNLESS they use your exact storyline! Don't know if you do much writing, but you should mos def take a stab at writing something like a short, well-thought-out fan fiction with this as the beginning.
LOVE the fact that you made him TF into something DIFFERENT from the original toy. I'm glad someone finally found a way to turn him into something other than his movie alt mode.
There are times (like enormous combiners) when parts-forming is hard to avoid. I avoid it as much as possible though. He fully transforms without having to remove anything but the arm cannon, and being a mech-tech gun, the cannon transforms too. Also, I sacrificed no articulation whatsoever. As you can see though, chopper mode is a bit different. Thanks! Yes, I am a published writer. I gave up that and doing drawings/paintings to do custom toys full time.
