Best way to make a Custom?

    Hey everyone!
    So today I got two Universe Acid Storms and I planed on doing a custom repaint of one of them as Thundercracker or Skywarp. Once I got home I remebered that didnt know how to make Customs.
    So now I'm asking if anyone knows the best way to reapint them? Because I dont want to stuff it up and not be able to not take it back.
    So can anyone help me please? (Oh, and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section)
