Jump and Right Now were my favorites. Although, honestishly, I have yet to hear a VH song I didn't like. Hagar or Eddie.

    Roth-Hot for Teacher
    Hagar-Dreams

I'm actually a bigger fan of Van-Hagar. I know Roth is a more energetic frontman, but I always liked Hagar's vocals better.

Runnin' with the Devil followed by Hot for Teacher. I never cared too much for the synth and Hagar eras.

I think Eruption should also get mentioned, as its lack of vocals puts it in a class by itself.

Hagar's songs were indeed fucking terrible.

I'm rather fond of Mean Street for some reason.

I'll be perfectly fine if I never heard Panama or Jump ever again. They have sooo many better songs than those two, imo.

If you asked me why Van Halen was one of the best rock bands of all time and why Eddie Van Halen was one of the greatest guitarists to ever live, I point to these two particular songs as the reason:

    Romeo Delight

    On Fire

...and you know what? I can't really knock the Sammy Hagar albums too much either. I have a soft spot for those power ballads and there were some decent deeper cuts if you dug a bit beyond the surface (granted, they were mostly confined to 5150).

    Get Up

    5150

I like Roth, Hot for Teacher probably being my favorite, but to me Sammys music is way better. 5150 can do no wrong in my book. 5150, Dreams, Summer nights, Get up, Good enough, Why can't this be love, etc... Awesome. OU812 , F.U.C.K., Balance had some great stuff too, but could never harness the magic they made with the first album.
