Transformers: Optimus Prime's first transformation in front of Sam. Transformers ROTF: Love him or hate him, the transformation of Devastator was epic. Transformers DOTM: Ironhide smashing the two Dreads.
Movie 1: Arrival to Earth, all the Autobots transforming. ROTF: Optimus falling from the plane. DOTM: Bumblebee on the highway scene.
1:All the Autobots in the alley 2:Mixmaster turning into his "GUN OF DEATH!!"mode 3:Ironhide turning into rust....JUST KIDDIN'!!....Mabye Crowbar on the highway or something.
TF: Optimus Prime transforming for the first time ROTF: Devastator. Hands down. DOTM: Soundwave from Robot to Vehicle
TF1: TF2: Ironhide enters Shanghai. TF3: Soundwave from car to robot. (Crowbar at the crash with Ironhide is in close second) I liked a lot of other transformations, like Sideswipe at Shanghai and Sideswipe transforming back into car mode after jumping in stealth force during the highway scene. The way all parts arrange along with the sound effects is really neat.
1. ???- A draw between Bonecrusher and Optimus on the highway.-Jazz transforms to attack Brawl then he transforms too. 2. Devastator's combination sequence. 3. ???-Another draw between Bumblebee transforming and jumping over the truck in slow-mo, and when Ironhide slams into the dreads... As you can see, I have trouble making up my mind. I love all the transformations except for Optimus' in the NEST base in DOTM, that was so lazy.
1) The Scanning of the vehicles and the Transformation of Optimus then the others in one scene. 2) The Shanghai robot scenes 3) The Fight between Optimus and lots of Decepticons and Shockwave at the end.
Transformers: Blackout at the base because there is just something about seeing something for the very first time that gives you a nice wow moment. Revenge of the Fallen: Paratrooper Prime because it's just a really fun scene and I really like how the scene flowed together so nicely thanks to the camera work. Dark of the Moon: I'll give it to Bumblebee just because it answers the question we were all wondering about with what would happen if an Autobot transformed with a person inside their car mode.
does anybody else think that Bumblebee's transformation at the end of TF3 was remarkable? It looked so smooth and realistic
1. Tie between Blackout at the SOCCENT base, and the Autobots transforming before Sam's eyes for the first time. 2. Tie between Optimus parachuting out of the plane before transforming as he hits the ground running, and the Constructicons merging to form Devastator. 3. Laserbeak donning and shedding his pink Bumblebee disguise.

TF1: Blackout - that transformation used the original transformation sound and it was epic seeing a realistic transformation. ROTF: Devastator DOTM: Bumblebee when he spit Sam out and caught him
2007: optimus transformation in the final battle ROTF: optimus barrel roll transformation DOTM: ironhide and optimus in the hanger after sentinel is the traitor
Yeah kinda ironic that we finally get an accurate detailed transformation in the last transformation of the last film after waiting 2 films for one
Soundwave/Jazz's break dance transformation and ROTF Devastator. Laserbeak's transformations were really cool too. I like his TV transformation.
The BEST transformation sequences are imo the ones which portray the best tactical use of the transformation of a particular Transformer in action ; because that way, it plays into his skills as a warrior / hero. So, transformations on the spot, without that dynamic, imo a transformation is kind of rendered meaningless. That said, here are my picks : TF1 : tie between Jazz sliding & transforming into the battle vs Brawl - and Starscream vs F22's. ROTF : Megatron shooting Prime in tankmode, then transforming and jumping him. DOTM : Bumblebee transforming around Sam.
Transformers (2007): Ironhide's second transformation in Mission City, just before he uses his cannons to boost himself into the air. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Optimus' transformation when he is released from the military cargo-airplane. Transformers: Dark of the Moon: Bumblebee's transformation during the highway sequence when he ejects Sam into the air, transforms to robot-mode, knocks debris out of the way in midair, push's Sam back into his chest, and then transforms back into vehicle mode.
