    Out of the three Soundwave molds (irrespective of decos), which is the best to get?

    * Human Alliance
    * ROTF
    * Deluxe DOTM

    I don't even own the HA, but I'm certain it's probably the best.

    Deluxe DotM Soundwave was a p.o.s. Terrible proportions, uninspired foot transform, terrible shoulder transform, fake chest, and terrible back kibble. Only cool thing about him was the head sculpt.

    Personally, I like the DotM deluxe. Mainly, I'll admit, because of the two DotM Soundwaves it was the more affordable at the time. But also because I was never a huge fan of the Human Alliance line.

    To me, the Deluxe Soundwave has much better proportions than the Human Alliance, whose legs are ridiculously scrawny compared to the bulk of his upper body.

    Ooooo, that's a toughie for me personally. I am one of the few who LOVES the ROTF deluxe, and in that respect I think the deco DOES matter, because I have both, but the TRU exclusive G1 deco is the mutts nuts IMHO, compared to the regular release. Also LOVE the DOTM deluxe and the HA versions too....

    Hmmmm, I guess if I HAD to choose, the HA. In person his legs aren't as bad as what most people think. And when posed in a way (i.e. Not like the stock photography) look just fine, IMO.

    ....

    Oh...

    I think I need to track down an HA Soundwave now. If I can find one at a decent price...

    ...

    I am NOT paying $100 for this thing. Crap. Need to keep an eye out for a price that actually makes sense.

    HA is the best toy but ROTF deluxe is the best soundwave imo

    Goofy shoulders and all, I still like the DOTM Deluxe ones proportions the best. Sadly by the time I got it, I had already put away all my movie bots. Don't even know if I have a ROTF one anymore.

    Seeing any thread that mentions Human Alliance figures makes me sad that we are not getting them for this movie.

    Do it. It's seriously a great toy, not to mention a marvel of engineering. I paid $70 shipped from Robot Kingdom, MISB about 9 months or so after he came out (roughly March/April of 2012).

    I just like the concept of the RotF deluxe the best. It's fiddly and it's got curling arms and one crappy weapon, but I just like making a whole bunch of different alt-modes out of it.

    I'll get back to you when I sell one of my arms and one of my legs for the DOTM figures.

    The human alliance is amazing. Disregard the stock photos completely. They do the figure no justice.

    ROTF Deluxe. Well, it's the only one of the three listed I own. It's pretty rad, and even has a plethora of fan-modes at its disposal.

    It's definitely the Deluxe DOTM.

    HA is cool with Laserbeak but his proportions are very, very awkward. The Deluxe just looks overall better imo. He also comes with the best Mechtech weapon they made, so there's that too.

    I would do it, but the lowest price I've seen around is WAY out of my price range.

    No way I can justify that kind of expense on a toy that would have run, what, $20-30 at retail?

    Like I said, I hated the shit out of that guy, but I agree that he did indeed have the best Mechtech weapon.

    Definitely HA for me. I chose it for the size and the 'driver' gimmick. It also looks more menancing than the deluxe version.
