I know there was a movie ironhide thread up here, but I didn't see one for ratchet. I keep walking by the "night ops" ratchet at TRU, and lately its been calling out to me. I already have the BB metallic one, the regular first movie one, and the 1st movie Rescue Ratchet. Which do you guys think is the best?
I'm gonna have to go with the BB exclusive. The paint is a bit better than the first usage of that mold. The voyager figure isn't perfect but at least the vehicle mode is accurate and it's in scale with leader Prime and deluxe Bumblebee. Still hoping for a new voyager mold for TF3
Cool, someone chose Desert Ratchet, I never watched a review on him, but I kinda assumed that he was close to the original with a few new paint aps, maybe I should take a closer look.
BB exclusive by about 15 miles. The only one that comes close IMO is night ops. To me, the deluxe version attempt was a total grease fire.
Rescue Ratchet. I think the G1 colors worked very well on the mold. I never owned the Best Buy version, but I would probably pick it as my #2.
best buy exclusive...loved it so much i only played with the regular release and still have the exclusive MISB to look at
I say the Deluxe one because although the scale is off, the overall look is much better than any of the Voyagers - in my opinion, of course.
That would have been me...because he's the only Ratchet I own, and I knew nobody would vote for him. XD He's very cool, IMO. Although he is basically the same, from what I've seen.
Man, the deluxe is getting SO much love, I hate that one b/c its all legs underneath, I guess it has a loyal following though.
Best Buy by far. The shiney paint apps on the face really bring out the details. There was some potential in the deluxe, but the size, change in vehicle mode, and hip kibble killed that one for me.
A lot sadly (judging by eBay prices anyway). Which sucks because I really want one - and a Metallic voyager Megs too. Anyone reading this who wants to sell me a MISB metallic Ratchet please get in touch! Even though I don't own him he does look by far the best version of the mold.
