Soundwave’s bird Laserbeak has had many interesting designs over the years. Which one would you deem to be his best? G1 – Image:TIS laserbeak and buzzsaw.jpg - Transformers Wiki Armada – Image:Armada Laserbeak MTMTE.jpg - Transformers Wiki Cybertron - Image:Cyb ep47 laserbeaks.jpg - Transformers Wiki Animated – Image:Laserbeak Animated.jpg - Transformers Wiki Prime – Image:Triage Jackhammer vs Laserbeak.jpg - Transformers Wiki DOTM – Image OTM Laserbeak videogame.jpg - Transformers Wiki I’d go with Prime. I find the origami design to be quite fascinating, as it implies (despite it not being seen or even canon) that Laserbeak can fold himself into all sorts of shapes. And if he can serve as Soundwave’s chestplate, then he must be incredibly strong and tough.
I voted for G1, but absolutely LOVE the GDO Generations Laserbeak. That's one of my all time favorite molds.
Honestly it's either the GDO Laserbeak, the TFA version (if only becuase of the guitar), Cybertron (for the bird design) and the DOTM version only because of his character...the fact he had one.
Masterpiece Laserbeak is the best toy obviously. Its amazing at just how much they packed away into a mini-cassette. Should Beast Wars Lazorbeak count? I wouldn't change my vote but he's as much a Laserbeak as any of the others.
I'm voting for DOTM Laserbeak; the massive jagged wings, the almost reptilian aspect to his design with the long neck and tail, the bulbous red eyes and the multi-hinged beak was quite creepy, and the gyros in the wings was pretty cool. He was basically a horrifying draconic vulture that existed solely to murder, and that's pretty hardcore.
I really enjoyed Laserbeak from DOTM. His design was creepy and the fact that he could take various forms of technology was pretty awesome! (I'm not sure if other incarnations also had the same ability) The worst Laserbeak is Prime. His design is just... confusing...
Laserbeak has never been as good as G1. I will admit it. The DOTM version looked like a turkey to me. But I liked him in the movie
DOTM Laserbeak looked so cool so yeah I'm gonna go with him. Although his G1 design looks good as well. Those two are my favorites.
Hmmmm, the nostalgia-factor makes me want to say G1 Laserbeak; he was pretty badass in his own right. But, DOTM Laserbeak's design was pretty cool-looking and quite menacing, it's too bad it didn't translate to the toy very well. Also, he was friggin EVIL! I'm voting DOTM, but I could easily filp-flop back and forth between DOTM and G1.
DotM, no question. Not to say the others were bad, it's just that DotM took "evil robot bird" and pumped it up to 11.
