What do you guys think was the best G1 Cartoon episode? They can be multi-part episodes such as 'More Than Meets the Eye' or 'The Rebirth'.

My favourite episode is 'The Rebirth'.
 

 

If we can include multiple part episodes as one, my favorite has always been the three part "Ultimate Doom" story.

The Rebirth is a pretty close second place for me (hey, check the avatar).

My favorite is Five Faces of Darkness. The animation is a huge letdown coming off of the movie, but I enjoy the story.

I dunno about "best", but my favorites would be Webworld, Triple Takeover, Dweller in the Depths, and Prime Target.

 

Good thread, I think mine is the Return of Optimus Prime followed by Rebirth.

Other favourites include fire in the sky, Call of the Primitives, Grimlock's new Brain, Heavy Metal wars, The Key to vector sigma, War of the Dinobots, The Burden Hardest to Bear and S.O.S dinobots

I'd say The Master Builders.
Not a lot of happen in it, yes, but there's great friendship, I still enjoy to believe that the Constructicons acted at first in good faith, and Prime goes Basketball.
Also a very nice combining scene.

B.O.T is definitely the most fun to watch but I suppose Starscream's Brigade is the most interesting.

 

Facts. Although for sheer fun my favourite is Masquerade.

Whatever studio it was behind the episode (speculated to be Tokyo Movie Shinsha the studio behind Visionaries) I really wish they'd have been behind more episodes. The animation and the character designs were fantastic.

Dinobot Island has to be my favorite, I remember a few years ago G1 episodes were on On Demand from Cox, and watching those two episodes brought me into the wonderful world of The Transformers.

I also love Hoist Goes To Hollywood since it almost is eerily prophetic (Michael Bay).
