Yup, we have the worst now we need the best. So just like the title: What was everyones favorite/best game(s) you played in 2007 and why?

I'm going to have to think about it cause there were so damn many.

This is a product of pure boredom and curiosity.

Rock Band was great! Even though I got the PS3 version and had to deal with the whole guitar thing.

My favorite game of 2007 was World of Warcraft. I was a little late to the game on this one but it ruled my gaming life last year.

Phantom Hourglass totally owned. It was a perfect sequel to Wind Waker.

    Except for PH's ending.

Well I didn't actually play COD4 until 2008, so I would have to say it is a toss-up between:

    Portal
    Super Mario Galaxy
    Bioshock
    Halo 3

slight edge goes to Bioshock for not only being beautiful but for also creeping me the hell out.

Uncharted was a great experience all around, I still want to play through again and find more treasures.

Rock Band is just pure funness.

Portal was a trip and freakin' hilarious towards the end.

I am also having a lot of fun with Ratchet and Clank, another solid experience.

Sorry I didn't have any gifs to go with my list.

Is nobody playing Mass Effect? I thought Bioshock would take it this year, but I have to say Mass Effect actually far more. Nothing else this year really came close.

    Halo 3.

I've never had a gaming experience like that. Not only do you play the game, you track stats on Bungie.net. You can then capture screens and videos of those "zomg" moments. From there, you share stories with your messageboard buds.

It makes video gaming feel like a sport.

Halo 3 is a unique trip.

Winner = Halo 3. I was late to the party, getting the game about 2 days before 2008, but I still think this game kicks ass, I love it. My other 360 games have remained untouched since I got it. 4-Player campaign FTW! Endless Teamkills! Nobody cares!

    Close Runners up are:
    - Bioshock
    - Metroid Prime 3
    - Super Mario Galaxy

    LOL Good shit Twist.
I couldn't pick one so I went with the best per system.
360:I think I have to go with Bioshock for my absolute favorite on the 360, I just loved using the plasmids and all that jazz. Halo 3 was good as well, especially when I was playing with everyone on Thursdays.

PS3:My PS3 has almost nothing but Ratchet and Clank and Ninja Gaiden in it and I still have not beaten either.

Wii:I actually liked Super Paper Mario better than Galaxy on the wii.

PSP: Disgea is the best and it doesn't seem like it will ever end.

DS: Phantom Hourglass was one of the few games I was so hooked on that I actually beat it. Good shit indeed.

Portal for sure. It's up there in my favorite game experiences ever, let alone for the year.

Console wise, it would probably be Super Mario Galaxy.

I can't pick just one... so here comes the list.

Super Mario Galaxy: Loads and loads of fun. Flawless controls, great graphics, great sound and music score and replay value to boot. Really shows that the Wii is capable of more than the third party BS we're trying to be fed.

Resident Evil Wii Edition: This was the first time I played RE4 and I really didn't know what to expect. But wow what a game. Just a thrill ride from start to finish. Wii exclusive controls to boot.

Metroid Prime 3: A perfect follow up to the first 2 IMO. Lush and detailed worlds, action and exploration packed, quick and easy controls and was actually challenging on the hardest difficulty.

Bioshock: The first game that I got for 360 and this game creeps me right the fuck out. Brilliant, nuff said.

Halo 3: Just a blast to play, it's my multiplayer of choice right now. It has everything that Halo 2 didn't and 4 player co-op is pretty much guaranteed shits and giggles.

Call of Duty 4: The campaign mode is one of the best I've ever played. So fast paced and action packed with uber realistic graphics. Multiplayer is quite fine as well though I prefer Halo 3's matchmaking and overall features.

Assassin's Creed: I went in with low expectations because I heard some so-so things about it. But I got it for free so what the hell right. Even though the missions got repetitive I still enjoyed this game a lot. Absolutely gorgeous game, unique controls and those combo/counter kills never get old.
