I found one of those PCC value packs that Target was selling a when DOTM was starting. The ones that had the five piece set with a single figure crudely taped together lol. I think I got the construction set with the bulldozer for $15

 

Shadow command Megatron for 40AUD. I looked online and he has sold for $400+. Tempting me. I also bought a G1 Darkwings set for $500ish and it was practically misb, but the seller said he opened to verify contents. I was kind of sceptical, but when I actually inspected and tried to transform them, the tightness was so scary, that I found it plausible.

 

Second hand MP1 in good condition for $15.

 

I was able to get a Cybertron Supreme Starscream for 5 bucks.

 

Supreme ROTF Devastator for 30 euros   Now THAT's a price I'm willing to pay.

I rarely get best deal on transformers that are sought after since most cheap ive gotten were on clearance that nobody wants lols. But i think the best deal ive gotten would probably this guy for 30$ complete but loose. Sword not included of course lols,

 

I got Comibiner Wars Deadend at Walmart for $10. The employees didn't find a price in the system, so they rang it up for $10.

 

That is a badass sword.

Completed and Sold listings range from $51-$82 loose, and MISB for $125 and up.

I felt it was worth it, because there has never been a reissue of Primus, vs 3 variations of Unicron. Primus with head retailed at $75CDN back in 2007, I never bought stuff at regular price. Primus by himself was on sale for $40, but never found one.

So yeah, worth? Dunno. But hindsight value to me was a very good deal. Plus that Unicron is very unique....also not reissued.

Also add to the fact that many loose Primuses and Unicrons have been broken down for custom parts. [see our own Radicons forum]

Takara also released a version of Primus and Unicron for 2010 but those of course started above $100.

I believe a lot of these, especially if they got it at a garage sale or something similar. Ya got to remind yourself that these are the type of people that LOVE going to garage sales and will hit up multiple ones every weekend. It's not for most people.

 

I paid like £30 for TFCC Breakdown MIB, not bad honestly.
