Has anyone bought anything from the open box section from best buy?

I saw a desktop and I'm not sure "how reliable" the product is.

    Just looking for some input.

Open Box usually means a returned good or something sometimes, an unopened item with a damaged box. You might find something missing, paperwork, cord, etc. Just hold onto the receipt incase it's missing anything vital. Better still, open it in the store, so you can walk it right over to the manager if it's missing something.

If you're buying it online, it's still possible to do a return, but a bit more inconvenient.

I never knew there was a open-box section at Bestbuy. I'll check it out next time I go.

Yeah, I happen to wait at customer service and the open box section was right across from customer service.

Thanks for the info Michael Payton

I would never trust an open-box item, especially anything electronic. Chances are, it was defective and refurbished and used as a display model. Purchase at your own risk.
