Trilogy.

 

I have to go with AOE, I've always thought that design looked really cool. As much as I like BB's design from the 2018 movie, I don't particularly love the mask. It's not bad my any means, just probably the weakest for me.

 

They all sort of look the same, but the AOE visor has a purple screen on it that makes it look ultra-cool.

I actually like the Trilogy and TLK masks. They're basically the same thing, except TLK is more curvy and round.

Otherwise, the BB one is weird and the AOE one makes him look like... like... a bug.

 

The AOE one actually looks the coolest to me, but just as a head. I feel it's a better Stinger head than Bumblebee mask, if that makes any sense.

The best is the OT one. Simple, effective, and functional. I actually didn't like the TLK one because- while it was technically even more realistic -it just looked... weird. The eyes were too far apart.

I don't dislike the BB movie design, but I don't like how cheaty it is. It looks more like a helmet that goes over his whole head than a replacement that folds out. Everything just sucks into the back and then gets replaced wholesale. (in fact I'm not even sure why the top of his head and ears get swapped out for almost identical alternatives)

 

The coolest one is probably the AOE one but overall I like the OT the best. None of them are bad, although TLK's looks a tad odd.

 

I've actually never been into Bumblebee's battle mask for whatever reason.

I mostly dig the honeycomb shape details on the Bumblebee one's eyes and how pronounced the horns are.

AOE looks pretty battle ready for what it's worth.

TF 1-3, I always found funny for some reason like whenever he pulls it down.

TLK is mostly the same as TF1-3 until I looked at the eye lens on the picture. It's not bad, but nothing remarkable.

 

Bayverse 1-3 because I love how it takes pre-existing geometry on his head that's totally unassuming and just looks like part of the top of his "helmet," moves it down in one singular simple, fluid motion, and now it's a believable, badass battlemask. All of them have basic visual appeal, but the Bayverse 1-3 battlemask is geometric genius.

Bumblebee looks the best to me. Also have a bit of a soft spot for the TF1-3 mask. It's pretty nostalgic by now. Not a fan of the AOE and Last Knight designs at all.

 

I seem to be the odd one out, my favorite is the Tlk battle mask. It just looks very bug like to me and I like how clean it is.

First trilogy is probably second for me, just for the nostalgia.

Next is the knightverse version, it looks sharp and dangerous, but it's a bit too waspish for Bumblebee imo.

Lastly is the Aoe design. I very much dislike it. It's so messy and overly complex with zero design language. I dislike that whole body design overall. To me, it represents the worst of the bayverse designs. Just way too much detail for the sake of detail instead of actually looking like anything

 

You pretty much hit the mark on my thoughts. AOE is way too cluttered and it's straight-up ugly because of it in my opinion. TLK is the cleanest and therefore, I do prefer it. Bumblebee is a close second.

 

I honestly just prefer the Bumblebee Movie Mask. It may be a bit of a bias because I LOVE Insect Masks that remind me of Kamen Rider, and I love the Insect Eyes on the Mask, but I personally just lean to that one.

 

For me it's down to either the Trilogy or BB...and to be honest I kinda like the Trilogy one a little bit more. Something about it seems more "buggish" to me.
