I guess the book with the Optimus Prime lenticular cover is the one by Mark Bellomo, yeah that one is pretty good. I like the Japanese Generations Deluxe book because it has the American, European, Japanese as well as G2 toy pics as well as concept art but of course it is written in japanese (the pictures are superb though).

Generations is great, but for me the Cybertronian Identification guides from Antarctic Press, circa 2001-2005, are indispensable as they give a year by year breakdown and give clear pictures of all weapons.

Skips over the Euro and Japanese stuff, and they only covered the first year of BW (we really need a Generations guide for all things Beast!), but still a great resource.

Then there's the internet, but I still like a good TF book.
