Absolutely best, number one Christmas song ever, is Tchaikovsky - Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy. I can listen to it for hours on end. No joke. Fantasia Faries - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy - YouTube Rock version
Anyone fans of Trans-Siberian Orchestra? I just love the YouTube videos where huge Christmas light displays are set to blink to TSO's music.
I think that the worst song is I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. All my bullies play that as my background music.
Best Christmas song ever, in my opinion... The Pogues Featuring Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York (Official Video)) - YouTube Also, this is really funny. I love listening to this at Christmas... The Twelve Days of Christmas - Frank Kelly - With Lyrics - YouTube
Love: Little Drummer Boy by Johnny Cash Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives Christmas don't be late by Alvin and the chipmunks. most any Christmas carol sung by Celtic woman Hate: Leroy the Redneck Reindeer by Joe Diffie.
Best Christmas songs Nicoleta Dara Seara de Craciun (Russian I believe and beautiful) Jim Brickman The Simple Things
The Pogues song is easily my favourite, it adds a bit of vinegar to the sacarine sweet festive period. I'm also a big fan of 'The Ukrainian Bell Song' and 'Kling, Glockchen, Kling' - The Hoff should do a version. Worst, all the vile vanila pop balads from Simon Cowell's awful TV shows.
Best: -Any trans Siberian orchestra song. -Winter Wonderland: Eurthmics (not sure how to spell that) -Snoopy and the red baron/Christmas bells: The royal guardsman. -God Rest ye merry gentleman: Barenaked ladies. -It's beginning to look like Christmas, and it's the holiday season: Andy williams Worst: -Anything santa baby. -anything I saw mommy kissing santa claus. -anything please come home for Christmas. -Christmas song compilation (don't know what it's called): Straight no chaser.
I heard one christmas song at work today by coldplay and it was the least christmasy song I have ever heard you would probably have to massacre reindeer and see the grinch and scruge as your lifestyle gurus to even get close to composing a song less christmasy.
This have been around for a while now and only now that radio stations in the St Louis area is playing it. And playing it a lot. I use to like it. Now Now I'm at a point that I can't stand hearing it.
Both of you will love the cartoon that was made based on the song. Cartoon Network plays it a few times every year during the holidays.
