I plan on buying a 3DS XL the day after thanksgiving (Black Friday), and I was just wondering what memory card I should get for it?

I heard that the 32GB Sandisk Class 4 is the best 3DS XL memory card, unless I'll only need 16GB?

I don't plan on buying any DLC or eShop/online exclusives, just physical retail games.

 

then you really have no need to buy a bigger memory card if you are not going to buy dlc or eshop exclusives.

i plan on buying some true eshop exclusives late this summer so i'll need a bigger sized memory card.. no classic virtual console games. if i can buy it physically on gameboy/gamegear/etc. systems, then i'll buy it physically.

 

3DS games don't have optional or mandatory "game data" installs, like most PS3 games do?

That's a relief lol ^_^, more money to spend on adding 3DS games to my collection  .

 

yep, game files are saved in the game card. and every 3DS comes with a 4 GB memory card.

right know, if i'm right, new super mario bros. 2 has DLC like bonus levels.

mario kart 7 has a patch that fixes a glitch that players online abuse to get ahead of the other racers.

Pokemon x and y has a glitch that if you save in the city in the middle of world map, the file gets corrupted and you must delete the file and start again. a patch for both games fixes the glitch.

i recommend getting Shinobi, it's pretty good. it is short but does have replay value. it goes for $15 to $20

 

I already know what I'm getting, here's my 3DS Games Wish list.

As for your suggestions, only Pokemon X and Y interest me.
