Okay am I the only one who thought Bee and Strafe pairing up together was a bit strange? I mean Hound and Bee got separated from the rest. They don't even know the Dinobots exist. Yet somehow Bee just turns around and jumps into some random flying dinosaur's claws? And who was telling him to jump? I specifically remember a voice telling him to jump. Even then he barely reacted to the fact that he was all of a sudden riding on a two headed pterodactyl. Very awesome shot though.
Wasn't it Optimus? Optimus: Bee! JUMP! Bee: *jumps, turning in midair as he sees huge shape flying at him* WTF IS THAAAAAAAH! He probably held on for dear life for a bit not knowing what was going on, but must have picked it up quick. He's awesome like that.
Yea that was a cool shot, we see Strafe flying out of nowhere, Bee shooting at Vehicons, explosions, Strafe catching Bee in slow-mo and Stinger grabbing him.
yeah.. i don't see how it's strange at all. if one of your comrades tells you to jump in a situation like that.. you jump. man, people are REALLY grasping at shit to not like about this movie, what a bummer.
Ah, my bad. I guess that would make more sense, if Hound and Bumblebee were separated from the rest. Although it would beg the question about why Hound would tell Bumblebee to jump if he'd never seen the Dinobots. Maybe what he meant was "heads up! Giant flying monster!" (or Prime radioed them and said one was heading their way, and to just go with it)
Well Optimus told Bee to jump but the weird part was that how could the Dinobots know who is on their side? they haven't met Bee and Hound yet
I'm not looking for reasons to hate the movie... shut the hell up. If you were a soldier fighting a battle and some two-headed pterodactyl started flying towards you out of nowhere... your immediate reaction wouldn't to go jumping into his claws.
I thought the chemistry/dynamic of the pairing felt strange. I personally would have paired him up with Slug if only because from a marketing perspective, pairing the most marketable character in the movie with one of the more prominently featured Dinobots in the franchise(who also turns into the second most famous dinosaur) seems a bit more natural.
Did you watch the movie because it's right there in the movie. It's a giant car robot and a giant 2 headed dinosaur robot you are ok with both just not that they team up, lord. His commander and friend told him to jump him and Prime are the only 2 left alive so I would listen to him too it's got him through 3 movies already.
Tell that to the critics There was also a guy nickpicking throughout the pentire movie in my cinema So fucking annoying Just shut up and enjoy
For me it was awesome scene, yes it's a bit weird because they act as a pair, Strafe catches Bumblebee and he absolutely sure that he wouldn't fall! But likely Bumblebee believes to Dinobots as they believe to Autobots! When Sam firstly meet Bumblebee face to face, he knows too that Bee is good guy
It made sense to me. Here's my logic. Strafe is Swoop, until proven wrong. Swoop was/is the nicest of the Dinobots. Bumblebee is the kid appeal character. Put the kid appeal Autobot...with the kid appeal Dinobot. BAM. Hell, if nothing else, it might mean Strafe gets more screentime.
Oh damn, I hate that so much when it happens. Seriously one of my pet peeves. It makes me feel like asking for my ticket money back because it ruins the whole experience. Fine if you don't like the film, but don't ruin it for everyone else in the theater while the movie is still going on.
if my commander told me to.. yeah I WOULD. "shut the hell up".. keepin' it classy. and who's to say that bumblebee doesn't know of the dinobots?.. we don't yet know the full story behind them.
are you serious?! that is SOOO lame. it's amazing that some people like ANY movies. i swear, there are probably quite a few people who go into movies like this, expecting to see a terrible movie, convince themselves before they even see it that it's terrible.. and during, they nitpick EVERY little thing.. and by the end of the movie, they think it totally sucks. i had a GREAT experience watching this movie.. i can't wait to see it in IMAX 3D (i saw it for the first time with my dad, he doesn't do 3D, he's got problems with his eyes). oh well, you can't please everyone... but somehow with three previous movies that weren't critiqued very well, the studio is still able to force 97 million dollars worth of ticket sales.
