as reported before, there's no "Transformers" brand logo anywhere. ƒr[ƒN[ƒ‹ƒIƒtƒBƒVƒƒƒ‹ƒTƒCƒgbƒ^ƒJƒ‰ƒgƒ~[
Putting little eyes on the vehicles is actually incredibly brilliant. Almost makes me wonder why Hasbro didn't consider it. Still kinda weird that they aren't being marketed as Transformers.I guess they're just trying to see if they merch sells better without the Transformers name.
Maybe I haven't been keeping up with Bot Shot news, but are the Prime Ratchet and G1 Toy Bumblebee heads new?
I didn't even know Henkei meant Transform!. I thought it meant "Classics" and Transform was "Henshin" What does Gettai Gettai mean then or whatever they called Takara Deluxe Skywarp and Thundercracker I recalll they are not called Henkei though? Didn't someone find Transformers secreted away on the box in tiny text in Japanese and likewise the logos or was that only one of the test market boxes? I'd like that slightly repainted Bumblebee. The tri-logos are a bit random though they seem to denote mood or such and if they can be use for a game it's not an obvious one. I hope people keep a close eye on these in case they start doing Japan exclusive chase clear ones and unique repaints ; say for example a red Mirage or Ironhide or a green or Yellow Ratchet. This may just be a bridging line and they might push the main spinshots etc.. next year as the main push. But i'll certainly want to know if they make any major colour difference beyond the tweaks Prowl or Bumblebee have. I love Botshots.... and I'd love to see a ton of repaint - especially if they are transparent, tinted clear, or black. That would remind me of things like Black Keychain Minibots, Clear Spychangers, and so on.
I still haven't even bought an actual Bot Shot toy yet. Cool than Japan is getting them literally in a month from now.
They both basically mean "transform", but in different contexts. The best explanation I can find is that Henshin means to "change form," and is used for living beings, while henkei means to "change shape," and is used for machines. Both terms do apply to Transformers. In the Japanese Beast Wars shows, they shouted "henshin" instead of "transform."
maybe henshin was used for the ones packed in robot mode and henkei was for the ones packed in vehicle mode?
Oh, the Battlemask Bee has a silver grille/bumper as well as spoiler top instead of the black found in the Hasbro release. Hmmm would like to have one.
Those videos are absolutely ridiculous and delightful, and I only had an incredibly vague idea what was going on. Is not Bumblebee supposed to be a young boy or a girl? I can't exactly tell. Either way, I want to get me a faceplate Bot Shot Bumblebee and a Powerglide now. Dammit Japan, stop that nonsense.
The product images released more recently don't have those eyes, so the detail might have been dropped from the final product.
They eyes are just paper stuck on for the short they never had those eyes it's just a visual joke. Oh and I'd suggest to Autovolt_127 That they buy a Botshot. just pick a character you like and you will get some joy from them (you might be better off with two though. I'd say these are nice : Barricade, Powerglide, Jetfire, Skywarp ; Unfortunately some of the coolest ones are in multpacks. such as Shockwave. Alternatively there's a complete redesign in 2013 so there might be something there of interest to those who have not go any. They are great desk toys.
