    I’ll admit I never really knew of him that well but I certainly admired his work and what he did for this franchise. R.I.P. Larry DiTillio thanks for the good times

    Beast Wars was the series that first got me into Transformers way back in the day. Since then, Transformers (and especially Beast Wars) has become a huge part of my life and has helped influence the person I am today. I owe this man a lot.

    :cry  Beast Wars was what truly introduced me to Transformers and cemented me as both a Transformers fan as well as a fan of science fiction overall.

    Just...fuck. He was one of the two guys who were part of a show that was an important part of my childhood. To lose a part of my childhood just really hurts.

    He came across as a really nice guy in interviews, and he left a legacy we can all admire. A truly meaningful life bringing joy to children and adults alike, he'll be missed but I'm glad he isn't suffering any more.

    Beast Wars got me back into Transformers.
    I was impressed by how the writing developed the story and made the characters interesting.

    I can say without a doubt that without Beast Wars I'd not care about this franchise as much as I do. I saw G1 and liked it, but its Beast Wars who was one of the first show I truly fully loved for its quality. And without a doubt the largest factor to that was the series' excellent writing which has yet to be matched by any Transformers TV Show. And thats without going into the other products I've come across over the years that Larry DiTillio worked on. So it's a tragic loss. RIP Mr. DiTillio. You entertained countless kids.
