    why are all the figures so bloody expensive? i was looking at BBTS and the scout class figures are 40 bucks...whats up with that? was this line that limited in japan?

    Those are the Japanese versions of Beast Machines toys, right? I believe they were Toys R Us exclusive in Japan, so they were probably made in lower quantities than most Japanese TF toys.

    Also they are semi-popular among western collectors, since they are "show accurate" repaints, so there's not as much incentive to clearance them out (I think)

    yeah, thats why i was interested in them, but i cant justify spending that much on them...except obsidian...i just love that freaking mold...ive just gotta save up for it...

    Eh Beast machines would have ben better if they kept their beastwars designs but added different alternate molds on cybertron.

    They were Toys R us Japan Exclusives. I think there were only 5000 units for each one.
