    Title says all.

I'm thinking of saving up some money, and get a majority (if not all) of the beast wars main cast. (With some off show characters as well)

Anyone know which figures I should get?

Any help would be welcome. :)

Silverbolt, TM Tarantulas, TM Rattrap, TM Primal, TM Megatron are all figures I'd recommend. I know I've read there are some issues with TM OP and Megs between the US and Tak releases so you might want to do some research on those before dropping any money.

Yeah, I've heard of GPS/BPS. Are the Takara releases prone to this as well?

B'Boom and TM Waspinator were my favorites of the BW era

I've heard TM Megatron is at least safe. Not sure about Op, but I think it's the same deal.

Otherwise Inferno, telemocha Waspinator (Japanese 25th anniversary), orignal rattrap, quickstrike, FRIGGIN INFERNO (yeah he's that awesome), depthcharge, rampage, and tigerhawk

As for non-show characters: Fuzor airhammer, razorclaw, snapper, razorbeast, buzzclaw, Torca (although pursue at own risk damn GPS), Magnaboss, and insecticon.

Find a robot masters Optimus primal if you like the s1 look. He has accurate head and chest plate and scales better with old figures.

Rampage was the first one that popped into my mind when I read the topic title... it's a very awesome toy!

I just got the TRU reissue of Optimus Primal (with the split face mask) and Megatron, and I love them both. Especially OP. And as others have said, TM Megatron and Optimus as long as you're aware of GPS. Others I can't really speculate on. Those are the only four I own, unfortunately.

If you don't have it, I really suggest BWN Big Convoy as well.

I'll keep that in mind. Though I'm more of a lio convoy guy. (Anyone know how much a BW2 lio convoy goes for?)

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'll try and hunt down these figures once the holiday season is over.

I recall seeing one on TFSource about a month ago for $50, but it was out of the package. Really don't know how much it would be in package.

There also a lio convoy in the robot masters line. He does not have the spinning mane gimmick and it doesn't cover over his face too.

It would probably be third party and out of scale with other figs, but: Rubber ducky

If you're not too fussed about color, I'd recommend Armada Predacon over Transmetal Megs. No real risk of breakage and you can get him for about $15-20.

Honestly, for the most part, avoid S1 show-characters. Beast Wars took a while to get its legs.

BWN Sharp Edge is probably my favorite BW mold, though. It's a remold of Cybershark, but a cooler shark, better head, and much better colors.
