Spider mode is fine, there's expectations and then there's unreasonable expectations. Shes a small, petite, lithe figure thats has to turn into a bulbous spider.

 

I am going to hide this in spider mode for my wife to find and scare the shit out of her. I just hope that she doesn’t break it afterwards.

Sh*t that spider mode is rough. Seeing it from all angles now, eeeeeesh. Anyway, we've come to expect this from the beast modes, so I'm ok with it.

Having said that, WTFFFF with that huuuuuge see through space from her side view in bot mode? (ala Studio Series Megatron?)

Okay so I know this is a dickhead thing to say, but I really wish people would take the time to pose this figure nicely, most notably the spider-legs. They're just jumbled up and not in any way posed the way they rest in the show, and while her spider-mode is platinum-oof, it's like he didn't even try to arrange them properly.

 

I think bot mod is transformed right, why? Does bot mode look bad to you?

 

I’m hoping it’s mistransformed slightly, you can see right through her torso when looking from the side.

The gap at the thigh joints is a bit annoying too, especially next to Cheetor, primal and Dinobot.

 

I hope so . That alt mode doesn’t look all that convincing looking at it from the sides or from the top down. I rarely keep them in there beast modes , so it’s not a huge deal for me . Just nice to know they can pull off a half decent beast mode .

I also have some less official photos, but you'd have to ask @Phamduc for those. He transformers her in beast mode a little differently that makes it a bit better looking from the front, though it comes at it's own cost. He pushes the back section down a bit, filling that weird gap you see in front, but also at the cost of having the hourglass in the wrong place and squishing the midsection a bit.

 

Ah , Yes . That’s what I remember seeing . That looks much better . As of late , these early reviews haven’t been doing the figures much justice .

I feel like the two halves just aren't compressed all the way, given how her back plate also doesn't seem to be in the right spot.

 

There is an alternate way to do the backpack, but I don't have any other pictures from the side, so I can't be sure if it fills the gap

 

She still looks amazing but there’s no reason she should be over $100.
