Blackarachnia is my most anticipated TF purchase this year bar none.

 

I’m expecting an onslaught of people posing her sexually.   The Facebook I manage has tons of knuckleheads who think they’re pretty clever to have MP-44 Carly in a sex position.

Brace yourselves. This thread will have a lot of pent up anxiety released in the form of shitposts for about a month haha

 

If they need to they may pose at their own leisure. Hell I may do something a bit saucy but never too much and I don’t plan to keep her like that.

 

But, to be clear, those kind of posts will have me eye-rolling and facepalming left right and centre. I just love this quote too much not to use it when I see the opportunity.
Having her appear flirty with other figures before cracking their skulls will be fun though because that’s true to her character but the straight up childish, creepily gratuitous shots will just be weird.

So come on Beast Wars fans- when the time comes, let’s be better and more creative with our photography so as not to be perceived as immature, sexually-repressed basement dwellers. I believe in us!

Honestly at this point I would be content with rattrap and rhinox. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

The robot mode looks great, the alt-mode not so much but I'm going to reserve judgement until I get in it hand. I've been rewatching BW season 1 recently and actually, the alt mode is closer to the show model than I first thought. It is a shame her pedipalps(I think thats hat you call the little legs/arms at the front) don't appear to be very posable as she emoted a lot with those...

Sadly 'disastrous' reports of figure quality or questionable build/engineering choices are I'm afraid par for the course these days, I have ny fingers crossed but am braced for disappointment.

I can't see anyone knocking MP-43 Megatron off the top spot to for me but Blackarachnia will likely go into second place by default.....wow am I really down to two official releases this year?

I put a few people into this sort of nonsense on ignore last time it came up in this thread. These sorts of issues really sort the wheat from the chaff.

 

Yeah I completely agree. I’ll be doing the same. Those sort of posts will let me know easily that I won’t need any more input from those types haha.

I’ve never been a completist of any of my collection in my whole life. But I will buy every original BW MP mold TT put out. 2 of each where I can. I will keep doing my bit to support this series so hopefully TT will continue doing these. The BW MPs have been selling well by the looks of things, but I’ve always feared TT would stop at any sign of sales dropping.

Two months from release and we still don't have a large version of the image displaying all her accessories.
