The robot arms look right, but the Cheetah’s front legs are terribly mistransformed.

I had a look at mine, the original that has been transformed back and forth a number of times. The thumbs are on the outside on both sides currently and it fits together just fine. So long as you get it all lined up right it fits together just fine. Hope this helps those that are having issues!?



I do worry about how well the beast mode of Blackarachnia will fit/tab together, I hope she's nice and sold despite looking like she's simply 'balled up'.

So how did they get this so right, but Bumblebee v2 so wrong? The kibble expectation took a V-turn more than a U-turn. I think someone somewhere got whiplash.

 

1. Why would you even compare the two? Honestly, it makes no sense.
2. Have you seen the new pics of Bumble 2.0? He looks so much nicer.

 

It makes plenty of sense. They're both Masterpiece figures, and the the expectation of kibble was discussed for both figures. I can compare the two because people on these boards were commenting about how one mode will suffer for BW figures because these have organic alt modes. Secondly, whether it looks nicer or not it doesn't change the fact that for an MP figure Bumblebee has a lot of kibble. I'm pointing out the irony in the fact that people assumed the BW figures will have one mode suffer for accuracy while expecting G1 figures to be consistent in both modes where as in this case it's reversed.

1. Because they are both part of the same toy line and designed by the same team?
2. That is debatable, he looks better than the early photo sure but he still looks pretty bad IMO.

Anyway it's not a topic for this thread...or any other really as it'll only get people backs up...but for what its worth I agree in comparison to Bee 2.0 Cheetor (and IMO Blackarachnia although less so) is a more successful design. IMO in almost all cases a great looking robot mode should take priority over a great looking alt-mode, not the other way around..Cheetor does this. He is also less compromised in alt-mode than I feel Bee is in robot mode but hey YMMV.

Yeah this is will be my MP...really looking forward to it.

 

Priority is generally given to vehicle modes for the licensed G1 releases, and robot modes for the BW releases. Seems pretty straight forward.

What’s Blackarachnia’s lowest Amazon price been? Still debating whether I should jump on-board, wonder how much it’s climbed back up now.
