    Considering her crotch is not turning into a spider head... they could have maybe made it less blocky?
    And I guess the japanese really want to show off that she can cross her legs. Yeah yeah fine, Basic Instinct and whatnot, but I would rather have a spider mode that is not a half-assed afterthought

    Ah, Blackarachnia. The first instance in the entire franchise that made me hopeful that they were moving into sexually dimorphic designs. At least until the toyline relentlessly and repeatedly crushed that dream.

    I still cant find a decent BW Metals Takara version of her anywhere. Even if I do find one on Mandarake etc its gonna cost close to $300!

    Rare Japanese packaging?
    A transmetal in perfect condition? I’m told the vaccumized metallic paint tends to chip pretty bad.
    The first toy version of Blackarachnia that was designed strictly as BA & not a repaint?
    Removable transmetal chest plate? :p

    TM2 Blackarchnia isn't my favorite on screen version of the character, but I think the figure is pretty damn cool. I honestly think that until recently, it was the best Blackarachnia figure available.

    Part of the reason why she is so pricey is because of how rare it was to find her back then. But you can get the Hasbro version for a fairly decent price. Unless you're just collecting the Japanese figures, there is really no reason to seek one out as there are no differences between the Takara and Hasbro TM2s, other than packaging.
