Or an error on hastily constructed CG models made in post production for additional scenes.

I'd like to see them adapt Beast Wars II, or Beast Wars Neo. Maybe add something like Interstellar where you explore the idea of going through wormholes and affecting past events. I think it could be a really cool way to honor the original series without directly treading over it or rebooting it. Sort of like a side-quel or sideboot; where it's set in a greater Beast Wars Universe.

No. Given the whole G1 impetus for Beast Wars' existence, that CGI error would not justify what you are proposing, at all. . .

I think maybe an alternate universe could work if done properly. But I'd rather have the original storyline though

We'll just have to disagree on the alternate universe thing. Too convenient; an easy way out.

Doubt they'll pull from this pitch but it's neat to see the reason why that Primal art exists:

    You have the original storyline.

The brilliance of Beast Wars was that it was a long for tv series for kids that completely upended the Transformers concept while secretly making a show for older fans that would bring the entire series full circle. Think how slowly it played out - a full season to reveal the mystery planet was Earth, with a second moon as a major decoy, another season to get us to the Ark and the secret of the Golden Disks. You just can't retell that whole story in 2 hours and expect it to have the power it did 20 years ago. Given the filmmakers had trouble telling one story - any story - competently in the live action films just fills me with skeptecism about this project.

I think it's way too early to do it right. Beast Wars is a subversion of G1 lore that shows the distant past and distant future of the Transformers. Bumblebee attracted a lot of positivity, but it doesn't inform enough of the lore for Beast Wars to build on just yet. There's gotta be more than just one film in between.

Like I said before many times the BW doesn't need to be an exact straight adaptation of the original BW show like how the Bumblebee movie wasn't a direct adaptation of the G1 show or how the Sonic movie wasn't a direct adaptation of the original games. So if they feel like not using the time travel and having the G1 lore be both past and future would be the best direction to take the BW movie into then fine. As long as they retain the heart and soul along with the important character traits in both design and personalities intact whatever direction they'll take I'll be on board with.

I think they're referring to Shockwave in Bumblebee

Beast Wars needs a trilogy, each film itself with a distinct 3 act format, covering all the major beats of BW.

Skip the Ark/Nemesis and have saving humanity/Code of Hero be the big finale

Anything that even remotely looks like it could be tied to existing in the same universe as the Micheal Bay films... even if Micheal Bay himself isn't directly working on it... if there's any hint that anyone was inspired by those films... I won't see it. Bay has ruined Transformers enough already. The Beast Era is my favorite thing in Transformers.

If there's going to be a Beast Wars movie made the requirement is that everyone involved in the project has to actually be a fan dedicated to making a movie fans can enjoy. No more people who hate the franchise and don't care if they piss off the fan base. I wouldn't mind seeing a new take on it set in modern day but I still have to recognize who the characters are. I shouldn't need to look them up online because the design is trash and the movie itself doesn't even say who it is I'm looking at half the time. I should just know who they are.

And if possible bring back the original voice cast... If you must recast a role, cast actual voice actors not celebrities just for the sake of having a recognizable celebrity voice. I don't want to hear a recognizable celebrity voice, I want to hear a Beast Wars character. A celebrity like Mark Hammil who can actually voice act is fine but Chris Rock never sounds like anyone except Chris Rock, stop giving him voice roles in animated films.
