Because Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime are two different characters. With two different voice actors.

 

My bad I never finished Beast Wars :/ but I don’t see them doing Prime and Primal in the same movie. It’d prob confuse the general audience understandably. I figured the movie would have Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals and Predacons like spikebuster said. I’m interested to see which route they go with that

Seems like Beast Alliance is the actual title. The website got registered 10 days ago by MarkMonitor inc. the main company behind every Paramount movie website.

Because she was in the potential cast listing that I posted earlier. Zoë is a super talented actress, just bc you don’t know her doesn’t mean she isn’t a good choice lol

MarkMonitor inc. is a domain provider for tons of sites. It's barely evidence of this actually being owned by Paramount or that this title is final.

I have a feeling they'll just call it "Beast Wars" or "Transformers: Beast Wars" (depending on if they feel comfortable using the name Transformers again...supposedly they removed it from Bumblebee's title after TLK flopped).

I would personally prefer something like "Beast Alliance" or "Beast Era" or "Beast World" or "Beast Heist" or something else new. Calling it Beast Wars would cause a lot of pre-determined expectations, because it would lead a lot of people to believe it's a straight-up Beast Wars adaptation. Whereas calling it something new would make it more like a new incarnation of Transformers that just happens to be inspired by Beast Wars. But I think somewhere in the year-and-a-half until release Paramount's focus groups will say "Beast Wars has more name recognition than Beast Alliance", even if Beast Alliance is the name they intend on using right now.

 

Yeah, that is likely as well. I'll keep an eye on it.

i dont expect "beast alliance" to be the final title, im pretty sure the illuminerdi article said it was just a working title and im pretty sure they use things like test audiences and focus groups for blockbusters now and i'd be shocked if people wanted that title

 

if they try to stick to the typical beats wars cast, though i imagine it will be a shaved down roster, i wonder if nyx will be included since she's been added to the rebooted maximal cast

How to bring Beast Wars back as a reboot?

Have it so during the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons, Cybertron is blown into many pieces. The survivors are dinosaurian Transformers that cling to existence on these damaged pieces of Cybertron. To survive, these dinosaur Transformers develop means of volplaning and flying that parallel those seen in maniraptoran dinosaurs and birds seen in the Mesozoic, so they can travel from one piece of Cybertron to another in their quest for survival.

The surviving beastly Transformers live in fear of the cosmic wanderer Galvatross, who flies the cosmos searching for prey and causing fear and chaos wherever he flies. A remnant from before Cybertron's destruction, he retains the advanced jet power of the ancient Decepticons, and no surviving Transformers on Cybertron's ruins dare challenge him...until a brave bird Transformers named Hot Robin dares to stand up to this robotic avian menace. The Bird Wars have begun.

I would go the Bird Wars route rather than a traditional Beast Wars route, because I think Beast Wars fans are likely to find any or almost any attempt at recreating BW to fail to reach their lofty goalposts. Plus, Bird Wars would be a unique enough twist on the Beast Wars era concept, that it could be viewed as something fresh, while still being rooted in some very basic Transformers concepts.
