I really like Beast Wars II Gigastorm and am considering getting one. Only thing that bothers me is that abnormally big horn that comes out of his head. I know Trypticon had a smaller one but at least it could fold down. Can the huge one on Gigastorm be easily removed and if so how does it look?
Was also wondering what the consensus is on his quality/features when compared to G1 Trypticon.
Appreciate any thoughts.

If you're planning on removing the horn, why not just get Trypticon?

 

^^this. Especially considering gigastorm only comes with full tilt for accessories.

 

Horn is removable, but not earily so, and he'd look silly with a gaping hoel in his nose (the small cannon that Trypticon has is absent)

Quality is very nice over all though, other than the missing accessories he is just as nice or nicer (I personally like the horn and the extra paint apps) than the original.

Would prefer Gigastorm over Trypticon because I like the paint apps better on Gigastorm. That damn horn just looks corny to me.

 

I suggest that you buy a trypticon and repaint it, that way you get the accessories, no horn or gaping forehead hole, plus the paint job you want. Win! Win!

 

The horn is the signature reason why I want Gigastorm.

 

It's hilarious reading a thread about how insanely expensive a trypticon is loose... then reading people in this thread saying to just buy a trypticon and paint it. =P
