Well i am out of this project im tired and cant be bothered anymore and also awaiting for my account on TFW to be deleted as i am leaving a load of Forums and focusing on other things these days SO this will be the last message on TFW in general

Guys, I'm sure erb has his reasons and such, and we simply just need to respect those and keep truckin'. When the dust was blown off of this project and taken off the shelf, it was presented in such a way that ANYone who wants to jump in can, as long as they're respectful of the others' work that's been done.

erb, you're more than welcome to pm me or however you'd wish to talk if you have any issues to discuss. I'm not really sure what's going on either, but everything that's been done up to this point has been done out of respect and caring for this project and the work that's been done. No one has done anything that I am aware of to disrespect anyone in any way. If any issue exists like this, those persons need to come to me privately to discuss the issue. It is such that the thrust of this project is what it is, and it's mission really needs to be to keep marching forward.   I don't see a reason in the world that anyone would think otherwise.

As for pages - I'll leave that option open.. 

 

Okay, BBA. As far as character designs are concerned, the only two Maximals that haven't had a design nailed down are pre-Prime Cheetor and Optimus Primal himself. Everyone else that has been written into Rob's story thus far has been taken care of.

As for pre-Primal Cheetor/Gryketor - maybe the existing design is the pre-Primal version..? I had an idea of using Tigerhawk's transformation for Feral Prime..

Or I could go opposite and draw a pre-Primal version of Gryketor.. hmm..

 

Well, this post illustrates the problem. There are a few designs about of each of these characters. Which would you like to use? I have no preference. Jazz did more than 1 of Primal himself. Your most recent Gryketor design looks extremely powerful to be a pre-Prime version. That's merely my opinion, though... what say you, BBA?

Do we have a Magnaboss trio roughed out yet? I wouldn't mind taking a stab at some transformation ideas if we don't already have a group. Or perhaps even a wholly original group instead

 

Story-wise, there are no plans at present for a Magnaboss trio. You're more than welcome to tackle those characters, though. No one is going to stop you. An original group is probably a better idea, I think.

I will say that I believe we have plenty of characters as it stands now. Almost half of those listed in the first few posts of this thread have not even been written into the story yet. I think it would be much more productive, if not merely prudent, to move on from character designs (with the exception of pre-Prime Gryketor and Optimus Primal), and onto something else, such as environment layouts, story boards, and actual pages.

I really want to see this project move to sequential form and as quickly as possible!

 

My Gryketor design is then indeed the pre-Primal design.. I'll get working on Feral Prime design as well as tweaking JAZZ's Primal.

Does anyone remember the map that somebody made up? It was a very simple map displaying Maximal and Predacon headquarters and Energon deposits. I'll upload it here as soon as I get the chance. Maybe we can use it as a reference tool if anything - it can help us out layout-wise. We can always create a new map if need be.

And I'll need to start reading those stories to get a leg up on storyboarding.. Yes, shame on me.

 

Damn, if that's pre-Primal, I can't wait to see Feral Prime. He's going to be absolutely bonkers.

Agreed. I think perhaps one of the failings this project has had has been trying to cram too many characters into it.
