Hi everyone! wow that's a lot of great comments here that I missed over the last ~week. I'm glad the designs are making fellow fans happy and doing justice to the characters. Waspinator's bot mode has kinda been on hold the last 1 week, was busy with some other projects. However I hope to wrap him up pretty soon. I will update the first page with all the images, I'm sorry I didn't think of it earlier . Stay tuned for more to come soon!
The only two versions of Rattap I'd like to see has a lot to do with his head design. He had a red glow in his eyes AND mouth that I always thought was quite odd. I'd like to see one version with that same oddity look and one where the eyes look more like detailed optics like he's doing with the other Transformers. Not sure what to do with the mouth when the optics are actually optics instead of a shared red glow but I'm sure he'll figure that out. The other difference I'd like to see inspired by the tech vs. bone designs done with Dinobot, Rattrap's exposed brain. Would like to see one version with an organic looking brain just because that's what it looks like in the cartoon and one with a more robotic look because I never understood why a robot has an organic brain or even why it's exposed. Maybe the robotic version could take some ques from Dawn of Future's Past Rattrap.

That's most likely true but if Dinobot can have organic looking bones on his robot mode why not see what Rattrap would look like with an organic looking brain. Also this topic moved to page 2. I don't wanna loose this thread! I'm sure the OP is still working on Waspinator's robot mode. Sense we haven't seen a post in a while is there any way we can take a look at the current rendering you have for him or some kind on sneak peak? Anything would be better than nothing at least till you actually finish it. Please.
That's what his brain already looks like. I'd like to see it completely organic looking or completely robotic looking. Also sense I brought up Dinobot earlier. TM2 Dinobot I always thought looked like a metallic skeletal system. I love that design because it's just really creepy looking. Would love to see it get the bone treatment and up the creepy factor on that thing. I can't really see it being any more robotic than it already is without taking away from the skeletal look of the design.
Hi guys, not to worry. The project is not abandoned. Just took a break since I needed to catch up on work and took a little personal time off to visit family. Will be getting back to this soon. Waspinator is wip, but I will not show any pics till I have him complete. Sorry for the delay but don't worry the project will continue. Thanks for all the support
Ah... but we wants to blow him up... I mean see him... Oh my gawd... if Micheal Bay does a live action Beast Wars he's going to have a field day with Waspinator. I can image the entire movie just being 2 hours of Waspinator exploding over and over again.
