    Hi all,
I received the ko dinobot and it’s absolutely awesome. His size is brilliant for a chug styled dinobot. He has a lot of articulation when he’s in beast mode. He comes with two really nice swords. The Plastic feels sturdy and smooth. And he’s big so all in all I really like this figure. I will post some robot mode comparison pics later on.

Definitely agree that he’s pretty great for a chug styled dinobot, though I wish his swords were bigger and I wish the gun he comes with were colored more like the swords than dinobot
I got mine direct from taobao when it first released, was about $30

Will you join the Beast Wars Forever movement? The goal of this movement is to let Hasbro know that we want more Beast Wars centric stories, toys, cartoons, etc. Use #Beastwars on all of Hasbro's social media pages, IG, FB, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube etc. Together we can make this happen, I know it sounds crazy but sometimes crazy works.

My first ever Beast Wars figures were B’Boom and Razorbeast. My dad got them for me by mistake. I originally (and specifically) asked for Optimus Primal and Rhinox for my birthday gift, but my dad supposedly forgot their names and only remembered that “one was a monkey (yes, i know, he also got that part wrong) and the other one started with an “R” (at least he got that part right).

As you can imagine, I was understandably really disappointed at first because i wanted figures of the characters in the show so badly but these two eventually grew on me and we spent countless hours carrying out top secret guerrilla missions in the jungle for Optimus Primal (in our backyard)!

My grandparents eventually got me some Predacons - Iguanus, Razorclaw, Snapper and Terrorsaur to go against my Maximal dynamic duo. For almost a year before I got more Maximals for Christmas (Rattrap and Rhinox), B’Boom and Razorbeast were always outnumbered but never outgunned!

Because they were my absolute favorites and played with them the most (and because they were always given the most difficult and most dangerous missions), inevitably they had their fair share of injuries and battle scars - one of Razorbeast’s hind legs got broken and i also broke both of B’Boom’s hinged shoulder pads.

I was able to glue back on Razorbeast’s hind leg. It’s ok and barely noticeable in beast mode but looks stupid and annoying in robot mode since i can no longer fold away one of the boar legs on his back. i had no choice but to always display him with the hind legs sticking out at the sides.

I decided to leave out B’Boom’s shoulder pads (good riddance! I always thought they were ugly). B’Boom definitely looks better without them in robot mode! But i still kept them for parts-forming purposes when i transform him to beast mode. Sometimes i display him like this:

I loved them so much that i hunted them down again online a few years ago - got a sealed BW Bio Combat version Razorbeast (that i eventually opened) and a Takara C-12 Apache MISB. I also found a loose but complete Apache figure online for a very good price and got him, too!

Now that i have at least 2 copies of both molds, i can have B’Boom and Razorbeast doing badass dual-wielding!

Looking back now i’m actually glad that they were the first Beast Wars figures i got because i was forced to be creative and come up with my own stories.
Good thing i wasn’t aware of The Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa back then!

B’Boom and Razorbeast were my Maximal spec ops Tango & Cash!

    I have a question.

I've watched some reviews of the Japanese bw Bigmos and it was mentioned in one that the blue plastic is really fragile. Is this true?

Thanks! Yeah, the wheels need to be plugged back into the usual place (via screwing them back in) for transformation, but otherwise he still transforms without any trouble (or even paint damage). One of my better customs!

    Hi guys,

Just a quick question. Does anyone know if the Beast Wars Neo Archadis figure also suffers from GPS?

I found a Takara D-36 Archadis MISB online for a very good price. Really tempted to get it but also afraid that it will just crumble to gold dust when i open it. Help!

Loved doing that as a kid, having characters that weren't shown on current media so you had to make up fiction for them. It's that reason that I will always have Movie Signal Flare alongside Universe Razorclaw. Two completely random characters who still stick out in my childhood head-cannon as fire-forged allies who fought to survive on a treacherous alien planet (my room) good times.
