Happy birthday, Beast Wars! One of my favorite TF fictions, and obviously with good reason. Hopefully Hasbro will pull their heads out of their afts in time for the 25th, if nothing else.

To this day I've never watched a single episode of BW but it's still my favourite TF line. The toys have just always been particularly appealing to me.

I can't help but think that this aired shortly before I graduated high school. Uh I feel old..er.

I wasn't really aware of the show till that summer and wasn't really into it until I watched the episode with Starscream's ghost. Then I started to take notice and get into it.

Then second season rolled around and the the Transmetals line came out, and then, to me began to look and feel like Transformers of old.

It really was a good fun solid scifi series and I salute it. And even though its not as popular I really like Beast Machines that followed it. I didn't like plant-formers and the morphing transformations but it was a good follow up.

    Cheers beasties!

Never got into BW as a kid. Lost interest in Transformers after the '86 movie at age 13 and subsequently missed out on everything since then. Now in my early 40's and thanks to the Bay films, my interest in TF was reinvigorated. After watching the rest of the G1 cartoon and the later Japanese series, Netflix added BW, so I watched that too. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. Heck, I even bought BM, and apart from the character designs, I liked that show too.

Currently watching Karyuudo's sub of BW II. It's definitely catered toward young children, but I'm still enjoying it for what it is.

That is an excellent article Mr. Fury. It's obvious that you care for the subject matter and that you've put quite a lot of time and effort into writing this. It really paid off and it's a fantastic read to mark such a momentous anniversary.

I love Beast Wars for the magnificent writing, voice acting and the innovations brought to the franchise through the toys. I truly truly believe that this saved the franchise. Without Beast Wars there is no doubt my mind that we wouldn't have Transformers as we know them today.

    "That's just Prime."
    "For the ROYALTY!"
    "We're all gonna die."
    "Slag."
    "Yesssssssssssssss..."

    I love this show.

I'll forever be greatful to Beast Wars for being one of the reasons that Transformers became a part of my life again as a teenager during the mid to late 90's. Even despite having animation during the very early episodes that can be kinda painful to watch, it's probably my favorite Transformers series ever created.

Happy birthday BW, yes. I remember watching the pilot wondering wtf only to tune in later in season one, the episode that introduced Airazor, and liking it. Found Benson Yee's website and ended up going to my first Botcon with Scott McNeil and Jim Byrnes. I met one of my best friends when I introduced them to BW. Good memories, great show.
