Hey everyone,

15 years ago today is the Canadian premiere of one of the beloved Transformers cartoons of the Fandom.

Although a lot of people have preferences,Beast Wars to me was my G1,the cartoon of a generation and of an era in the history of cartoons.


So I'm asking you Fans,what does Beast Wars mean to you?

just think, i was 4 years old when beast wars came out.....wow, i feel old  

this was the reason I became a transformers fan and without beast wars transformers would of DIED in the 90's

 

Ruber duckies rise from the oppression of megatron..lol..beast wars hands down brought transformers back in the map...

 

I now have to watch BW from the beginning, again  

 

Beast Wars is the definition of how to make a successful Transformers series

Even nowadays I still find the CGI in Beast Wars is better than some in the present time.

 

I remember that I missed the first Episode because in Canada never knew what Beasties was. Until a friend came up to me in Highschool and said "OMG Transformers are BACK!!"

 

Same.I missed the first Episode when in first aired in Canada,course,my brother was being born on that day.

 

I thought the anniversary was back on April 22?

 

Not exactly.Today is the Canadian premiere of Beast Wars back in 1996...course we called it 'Beasties' instead.

 

Then you should probably indicate that it's the Canadian anniversary, not the over all one.

 

Still within the same year regardless.

Seriously though, I might've missed the 1st episode or something & saw it later on, but I'm pretty sure that I got into it from the beginning because of how much hype YTV gave it. Like, Reboot is still pretty much my favorite show ever (and it was back then too), so of course I had to check this out, especially since I've always been a TF fan in general.

 

Wouldn't it be the 15th anniversary of Beasties, then?

I remember watching that when it aired on YTV in late August of '96... good times. I was like "Holy crap, TFs are back?! Awesome!" (still have the complete 1st season, need to get seasons 2 and 3)

 

So... I guess now would be a bad time to mention my observation about how Beasties sounds a lot like Bestiality, eh?
