Not sure if this is really news but rather an interesting tid bit of information. I was searching some ebay auctions and came across these 2 pics of Cheetor packaged differently. Check out these two auctions for pics to see the difference.

I believe the picture in the first picture is an early mock up. The guy must have borrowed it from somewhere. The picture in the second auction is the final product.

 

oh is that all? And here I was afraid that the old cheetor variant had returned from 1996, that being the variance in eye color. What were there... 3?

 

Yet there were Cheetor rock bubble with blue eyes, Cheetor smooth bubble with red eyes (which I own), Cheetor smooth bubble green eyes.

Ahhh I was hoping there was gonna be some gold on the robot arms.. oh well, this is interesting enough.
