yup, changing my vote to platypus chainsaw. i never thought i'd need a weaponized version of the greatest animal ever. thanks guys! along with that, it'll be awesome to relive my childhood with a chicken sniper rifle. the n64 south park game actually brought me the joy of shooters, and the chicken sniper was my best weapon. my brother, uncle and mom had to team up on me once i got it, and i'd still win.
Today we have pics of the land-based Weaponoids, all except Rhinoblaster are hand-painted White Strong & Flexible prints (Rhinoblaster is a white S&F and a blue S&F print with parts swapped. From there, we've also got pics of the Brass Gnomekles and Rainbow Upchuck Gun: And last, we have the Ironbison Turret Upgrade kit: The store is, as always, here. Also, you can get 20% off between now and Jan 1st on prints in Strong & Flexible or Frosted Detail plastics with coupon code FAREWELL2016
sense others are doing, thought I could toss a few ideas out there: Butterfly to battle axe (monarch butterfly into flame axe anyone?) rabbit to ice axe/some form of pickaxe (could probably do something with the ears) fox into flame thrower mole into large drill snake into a staff/scepter alligator into large rifle(+sword? They are very long animals)
You could make transparent versions and make "Deployer" homages, as heand-held versions of them. In fact, you could make clear versions of several of your ideas and use the naming system to run with a new line of deployers, syck as "Lio", "Kat", "DoG", "Eag", etc: - Deployer (BM) - Transformers Wiki
That's the beauty of 3d printing, you can pick how you want to print it. The high-detail plastics are all translucent, and you can glaze them with translucent paint or dye them (some dyes work better than others) for that kind of effect. (those plastics are also covered in the current coupon code sale, so hey!) The names are mainly so they're not just called boring things like "Lion/Chaingun" or "corgi/missile launcher" or whatnot. I don't see the names or bios as being anything but one possible identity for the figure. So depending on what colors you choose and how you paint, Catling Gun can be LionBreast, Tigerbreast, Lionizer, Steeljaw, Under-3, Dark Eggleo, or any number of other canonical characters, OCs or franchise-hoppers. Don't worry, there's more of these guys coming.
Great! I can't really buy Shapeways stuff as it's too expensive to ship to Japan. I really hope this gets sorted out soon. It's crazy how it only seems viable to get them in the USA. Anyway, any plans to make Mol, Rav and Dillo?
Actually, the shipping's pretty good within the EU, from Shapeway's Netherlands location. The US and Japan aren't the whole planet, although it sometimes seems that way in this fandom. Not that that's any help to a person in Japan, obviously. A bit more on topic, I've just got my Weaponoids from Shapeways, and I'm chuffed with them: now my custom Rad figure has his partner Lionizer. I ordered both the feline Weaponoids, with the intention of repainting whichever I like least as Lionizer, perhaps into some sort of bronze-and-green colour scheme. That'd really suit either figure. When I uploaded this photo, I realised that I'd mis-assembled Catling Gun. Turns out it's really easy to prise apart and repair a poorly-put-together Weaponoid if you're careful. I still can't decided which of these two I like best as Lionizer. I'm leaning towards abandoning my repainting plan and simply calling them Lionizer A and Lionizer B.
And now for something completely different: Gunbunni Weaponoid Kit! Her aim is impeccable, her outfit's impractical, and she's the size of a Titan Master (plus ears). Check her out here. And I've also got a non-gator gun for whatever version of Krok you enjoy:
ha! this is cool! so many bunny lady being weaponized dreams fulfilled! also! i read this part super excitedly.... ....and this part half heartedly for some reason....
If you like your female Targetmasters more armored, I have this nifty crossover option for you. Zapmas Ion!
Liokaiser aside, these look pretty fun all on their own. Are these printed in polished or regular strong and flexible?
