What an odd toy. Blast Charge just couldn't let go of the 90's. Despite coming out in 2000, this deco is right at home in G2. Bling AND bengal stripes. My oh my. The car is so fantastically goofy. I love it's big face. I love that none of the the sets of wheels match. I love that his robot head is so not hidden that it feels wrong not to have it up. Robot mode. Wow. Robot mode... No toy has ever been missing a joint like this cat is missing a joint. Look at that thing! The official transformation is the one that looks the least like an official transformation. A simple mistransformation moves the uniboob off to the back. Why isn't that the official transformation? Pop the head off and replace it backwards and you actually can fold down the uniboob. Of course now you can't fold away the head in alt mode... ...but swap the arms around... Now we're on to something! Transform him backwards. No uniboob. Transformation works fine. AND NOW HE HAS KNEES WHERE HE DIDN'T BEFORE! Why isn't this the official assembly? Anyway, that's Blast Charge. Goofy as anything, illogical, and ugly to boot. I love this toy.
