am i the only one that thinks smokescreen looks like legion knock out with a retooled chest and shoulder section? i mean, look at the head and legs.

also inb4 airachnid looks nothing like stovk photos, her arms are pushed back to fit into the package better.

why is ravage brown, dear lord.

i like wheeljack's golden 'ears'.

bumblebee looks super cluttered.

 

Nifty packages.

Not sure about the others, but something about that Bumble-spiked-bee makes me want one.

 

Only half-interesting toy there is Lazerback.

And Soundwave's colors are horrible.

 

Mehhh..I looked at all of them an the only thing that catches my attention is predaking on the packages lol

 

... I kinda want that Bumblebee. And I definitely want Soundwave (possibly because he'd make a perfect Classics Jetstorm).

 

Oh wow. This are going to be shelfwarming. Im glad I wont be collecting these.

 

So Bumblebee's an intelligence specialist now? I KNEW he'd get a change in some way, from that mouth on the figure!

 

Hrmm, Soundwaves colours there are reminding me further of BM Jetstorm, coincidence?

 

The packaging is actually pretty nice. I'll definitely be keeping the cards of the figures I get, like I have with all my Cyberverse purchases. Not sure if I'll keep any of the boxes to any boxed figures I get though...

Yes.

 

Soundwave is looking...less appealing, given the color choices and the apparently restricted articulation. Which is kind of a shame cause he was about the only non-Cyberverse item I was sold on.

Smokescreen looks like a fine Legion to me, ditto Airachnid, ditto Sinnertwin.

I must think, all these extensive retools are kind of another strategy to deal with the same syndrome that the movie lines suffer...you have more product to sell than characters to make into product. Transformers media is doing better with a focus on fewer strong characters, but that doesn't mean folks necessarily want every toy of one character, does it?

 

why so much negativity guys? I personally love it!
having skipped the rid Bee, this spikey archer Bee will look great on my shelf next to Hotshot

Laserback looks awesome, i can honestly see Funpub redecoing this guy into another Firecon later on

Wheeljack was a great figure to start with, methinks the additional parts and a new deco could make a wonderful Slicer

Soundwave, yeah i'll admit the impeded arms hurts a little, as does brown ravage, but a quick shot of black spray paint will fix ravage

i have no real opinion on cyberverse cuz i don't collect that line. Not Roadbuster/Bulkhead looks cool though, wouldn't mind seeing this deco/retooling on the First Ed Bulky

 

I was underwhelmed when I saw the promo-pics, and that feeling hasn't changed with these pics. Not a single one in the bunch that I would purchase. So glad I'm ending my TFP collection with the season 1,2 cast.
