I'm aware retailer news isn't usually "new News and Rumors newspost!" worthy, but seeing as this gives us a look at new unphotoshopped toy pics (they lack the shiny gloss of the photoshops), thought this was worth posting.

". And we have no pics of either of them, not surprisingly - Hasbro's REALLY playing this close to the chest.

Even more interesting, Hasbro appears to have learned from their "overpack Bumblebee in a case" experiment and has gone back to even Deluxe case assortments.

Date is January, too - so it looks like we're gonna get a really quick toyline launch. What this'll mean for distribution immediately after Christmas, who knows, but it's nice to see that they're finally synchronizing a non-movie toyline up with the media launch.

 

I really wish the Deluxe Airachnid was a bigger version of that. The Cyberverse looks better all around and in both modes!

Can't wait for Lazerback.

im curious to see Optimus. Depending on how he looks [though i dread the thought of them not using the first edition mold cuz its just so much more my favorite] i may get him. But otherwise I really dont feel the need to re-buy everyone @___@

 

My first thought was to wait for these to be reviewed, then see if i want them or not. My second thought was "its only 2 toys I want, might as well" So Lazerback and Predaking will be mine-but only when I find them at Retail-and given this will be the new toyline, i wouldnt be surprised if they were fairly easy to find.

only other one i might get is Soundwave specifically for Ravage-again, only at retail.

 

I only want a Smokescreen. No interest iin the others

 

Why does Hasbro continue to troll us with Roadbuster-like repaints of characters yet refuse to give us an actual Roadbuster?

 

With a release right after Christmas, "brick and mortar" availability may prove to be few and far in between. A lot of places really cut back on getting in new stuff because they are so swamped with overstock from the holiday....

ah well, I guess that's all part of the hunt huh?...good luck to those that want these!

Wheeljack actually looks kinda cool.

 

You sure about that though? The only thing I can see that's a slight improvement on this toy are the arms no longer having the triangle shaped kibble. The rest seems pretty much the same. this cyberverse even has the cockpit behind the head, just like on the deluxe...

Which makes the deluxe even more sad. This is all forgivable on a cyberverse, and with that size, actually looks okay. :/

 

Good to know they'll be a month eariler.  

And I expected Optimus to have a Voyager in Wave 1. To be honest that sort of make sense considering that he may have that form as an upgrade later on in the season. Just as long as Shockwave and the Insecticon get Voyagers later on in the line I'll be fine with it.

 

I dig Lazerback. He's got that G2 Firecon feel.

 

I want cyberverse Twinstrike the most.
