So Depthcharge could have a whole team.....the Fish Fighters! :lol

The variety of animal types is one of the many awesome things I've discovered about Beast Wars. I've already got a shark, several wasps and rats, an armadillo, a fire ant, a raccoon dog and some weird hybrids.

It's a lot more intresting than endless carbots and Seeker repaints.

    Verno,
I'm intrested in seeing the 3rd party Cheetor video if you have the link.

    Thanks!

It's been very cool comparing the 3 in hand and I'm considering the Botcon Waruders as well....at this point it's safe to say Beast Wars is going to be more than a brief tangent for me :lol

Stampy is a very important figure to me in my history of Beast Wars collecting. As it was the first Maximal figure I got since Beast Machines and my introduction to the Japan Beast Wars series.

I keep seeing the 2-pack with Stampy and Sling on ebay for just under £17 shipped and am probably going to bite.

Is there an English dub of the Beast Wars Neo cartoon?

    QFT.

It certainly hasn't been easy to catch one of these BW2 episodes on Youtube, even when they were made available back then. Doesn't help me much since I can't (for the life of me) read nor understand Japanese.

When it comes to BW2, I could see the efforts put into providing quality subs so that I/we could at least understand the dialogues in one try. (When I was watching Masterforce, Victory or even Zone, the English/Chinese subs were roughly translated on a word for word basis so even though you'd "subs" in those, sometimes it took multiple tries to finally get one dialogue right because its like playing jigsaw puzzle assembling the words together & having them make sense.) :lol

I'm really looking forward to BW Neo as brilliantly put up by Karyuudo team again, knowing I'll be in for quality stuffs.

Though I've said this for many times previously, I would say this again:

"I really really appreciate all these from the bottom of my heart." :)

On the topic of BW Unicron, that prototype was good & I hope to see Makers releasing an official copy of it sometime down the road.

Majin Zarak is indeed impressive as per BW2 The Movie but I wanna see the Maximal/Cybertrons get some awesome Big Bots to even up the odds abit. Seems extremely unfair that Predacons/Destrons ALWAYS gets the biggest/awesome toy pieces. :p  (Gigastorm, Unicron, Majin Zarak...H#ll, even Galvatron is much larger than Lio Convoy in the series.)

    Nice pictures as always! :)

I'd noticed that there was rarely talks/discussion on Japanese portion of BWs in this thread so I'm wondering was that neglected at some point?

Done with watching BW2 had led me to a stronger yearning to find out/understand more about character's development. (I realised that I know more about the characters in US version of BW but when it comes to Japanese side, I'm mostly clueless about it.)

Whatever information I'm trying to solicit, I can only reference answers from tfwiki & personally, I don't really trust what I'm reading there 100%.

I want that Chibi Cheetor BAD.

It has nothing to do with being "hard to please" it's just factually inaccurate to the TV show. The bridge is the totally wrong design, the CR chamber is some sort of tube in the floor, there's a giant sub-level to the bridge, on top of other errors. Plus the whole design is just completely off from the show, which is startling given how it's compared to actual screen caps from the show detailing the exact nature of the inconsistencies.

It was pretty big, and the cutaway drawing is mis-proportioned. The front half is way oversized compared to the rear, which should be much larger. Despite that, the whole ship seems somewhat undersized. Or at least too tall for it's width. The ship itself is almost chibi-fied.

Woah there calm down. Someone cares quite a bit about a random cross section drawing.

Well, hopefully BWIi got a good enough reception for them to tackle BWN! Although I think the team is in dire need for that well deserved break; whatever their next project I definitely look forward to enjoying it!

And I agree, however I think that is what makes the Maximals so bad ass in their own right; being able to take down these super huge D(estron)-bags with nothing but strategy, will power -- and the occasional mcguffin :lol

That Looks amazing! Does it transform?

    Saw the thread, nope.

Having seen it and the other pictures in his thread for this. It really makes me want to see them do a update of the figure. This shows what a proper dedicated update could be like though the MP line.
