I finished my initial viewing of the series last night and overall thought it was fantastic, the writing was so good that I didn't really dislike anyone and narrowing down favorite characters to one from each side is damn tricky.

My Robot Heroes Rattrap arrived a short while ago and I think he's great!

So, I actually managed to get an Universe Dinobot at a pretty good price here in Peru (much cheaper actually than how I would get it if I imported it even without shipping prices) mostly because I thought that it would be a good fit for an "evil" Dinobot in the Predacons ranks and I'm pleasently surprised.

He actually holds together much better than the Henkei version I got and the joints are even tighter, he can even grab that sword nicely with his claws! Plus, the combination of colours he has definitely makes him look much more Predacon-ish and with certain changes in his robot mode (including the switch to Predacon symbol which looks way better with his paint scheme) I think I have another solid figure for my updated Predacon team.

Yeah, I wish the Takara version's claw hands & raptor arms were molded in the same kind of plastic the rest of the figure is made from. Or at least something a little less... Rubbery?

Picked up a loose, complete Cybershark (1st version) in what appears to be excellent condition off ebay for £10.05 shipped.

    Looks like another fun figure!

Has any Prime other than Primal used the phrase "Well that's just prime!"? Robot Chicken had Optimus Prime say it last night and I was wondering if I should be offended by their "cultural appropriation" or not. :lol

Pretty sure Boss Monkey had that on lock, aside from Rattrap borrowing it once.

Really I'd be flattered that someone else even remembers Beast Wars.

D: That's one of the next figures I want to get.

Damn Split! Everything is something you want to get :lol
Cybershark is a pretty great toy, just a little simple to transform for a deluxe. Also, the tail spring in mine is absurdly strong and the chest blaster isn't too far behind. Just be careful you don't lose the shark missiles.

I've recently acquired Cybershark as well and really like him. He's got quite the backpack on his bot mode but I enjoy how odd his head gimmick is. It took me a bit to notice it but there's some detailing on his missiles.

    Eeeh! Sorry Hans, wrong guess.

    SHITTY BACKGROUND TOY REVIEW

    Featuring Optimus Minor

Don't let the slightly misshappen monkey mode fool you, he's freaking great! Super posable arms and legs. Definitely a unique transformation. I only just noticed after taking this picture that he has two different size eyes. Weird.

Bot mode is where this guy really shines. He can do the Budhist Palm technique. I particularly like the face sculpt on him. He's got an arrogant sneer that just works with him so well. I always thought he would be a great addition to the show. Sort of like the Bart Simpson of Beast Wars. Instead we got Nightscream. Frickin' Nightscream man

    He can hold any pose..

    Even do a handstand

He also has the bizzare split double arm thing going on. No idea why it exists but it does. As a kid, I used to position them so he kind of had a hoverboard like Optimus Primal.

    Optimus Minor: aye caramba

I have him. You definitely make him look better, but it doesn't fix the problem his arms make in robot mode. The split kind of fixes it, but he has no elbow motion whatsoever aside from that, which can make posing him a pain. He has good articulation, but it just seem like it went to the places where it wasn't need as badly as other parts of the figure.

Not only did they not release/reissue DJ in the Telemocha series, they literally took away the ability to form Tripledacus (even if DJ did materialised eventually) without the connectors.

Another point, though not a gripe for most of the folks (it is to me) was Telemocha Gimlet being released as a Destron so I flat out refused to add him to the Cybertron ranks.

So I'm slightly confused. They deliberately changed the mold to not have the connectors? That seems like a pointless waste of money.
