If there are any 3rd party designers/owners whatever in here seeing this message please, please, please make a masterpiece styled rise of the beast cheetor and airazor. I know the film isn’t out, and I’m actually not shitting on the recently revealed studio series figures and I’ll actually be purchasing both the studio series figures and the mainline ones but I’d love to see some 3rd party companies tackle the designs, of course I’m also hoping for some movie masterpiece releases.

my favourite though out of the 2 currently announced lines are the mainline figures

 

I've seen a number of comments in the SS ROTB Cheetor thread about the design taking cues from Beast Machines Cheetor. With a stylised and angular reskin, perhaps this is how BM could get some Generations updates.

Being a reskin of a Voyager would certainly work in terms of scale and Cheetor's increase in size as seen in the show.

 

On the topic of Beast Machines Generations figures, would BM fans buy a retool of the upcoming Voyager class Legacy UNI Silverbolt as Savage Noble?

Make the beast-mode a dragon, give the bot-mode a wolf-like head...

 

I would if they could successfully pull off swapping the colors between modes. I'm not sure if Silverbolt's transformation would play into that very well though

 

I wouldn't be happy about it but I'd still buy it. I'd imagine only one of the two forms would be done well if they took that approach since so much would have to be retooled. Overall it'd be a neat novelty like the Legends Noble toy, but obviously it wouldn't be ideal.

 

In my head, the bot-mode was still a majority of red, much like the original figure, with a blue chest, head and underside of the wings. The way Silverbolt's loincloth unfolds for bot-mode means that blue is hidden away in beast-mode.

The dragon beast-mode could be quite a nice retool. Articulated head, double tail, articulated wings.

Although, a new thought has just occurred to me: They make him a straight-up Fuzor. Half wolf, half dragon (instead of eagle). Wolf head, dragon wings, a double tail and some scales in spots instead of fur. Paint it red and blue. Done. This would also bolster the Fuzor ranks, which, until Quickstrike is leaked in some listings, currently sits at 1.

 

I'm very much up for new fuzors. We needed some that used extinct species... but just more in general.

I thought of and sketched several years ago but the only one coming to mind was what was supposed to be a Fuzor beast mode of piranha and surinam horned frog.

Turns out that looked an awful lot like an organic Sharkticon...

Anyway, I had thought poison dart frog but I wanted her to be essentially a mud monster. The surinam horned frog was ok until I saw the Surinam Toad: bland color, dorsoventrally flattened, and omg how it births! Disgusting... so that was it.

Her name was Gnashty and she could deploy mini drones from her beast mode back. Think "Gremlins" but its Scraplets popping out...
