I watched the cartoon and owned the orginal Lio Convoy, so I don't mind them being on the arms. Buy the arms on the MP stick out more.

Yeah, it's the curse of Transmetal chrome. I've seen instances of chrome flaking occurring in sealed, unopened figures.

Rattrap is at least fortunate enough to have a 10th anniversary version of the figure that doesn't have chrome. None of the other Transmetals are so fortunate.

Actually the 10th anniversary Rattrap has chrome too. Hopefully it holds up better than the original, though.

Been Googleing my bloody fingers off w/ no luck... does any one know of a 3p or 3d printed beast/ mutant mask for the mp-43 megatron?

Grimlock

 

Just noticed grimlock on the back has red eyes in beast mode, is that a variant? Or a mistake

 

Seriously a work of art. How do you do it? That display is so EPIC, now I see why you get doubles. They have so much personality in both modes. And your customs look phenomenal, great use of the KO Dinobot. Where did you get those beautiful laminated posters?
Do you have a specific webpage I can look at ALL of your beautiful work on?

 

Thanks for the kind words. I’m very proud of how that display is shaping up and what it may someday become. Planing is everything! Had to get Winged Dragon bang in the middle and make sure I left enough space to fully spread his wings. He takes up a ton of real estate but he’s worth every millimetre.

I made the laminated posters at work while no one was around   Simply found the images online, blew em up to A3 in publisher, printed, guillotine off the white edges, laminate, guillotine the excess plastic and done. Made a whole bunch of backgrounds and random posters for every one of my current and future displays too. A little decor behind a display can really class it up IMO.

Unfortunately I’m unbearably lazy so haven’t got any sort of site up to show my work off but there’s some of my stuff in the radicons section here.
I’m moving into 1/6 scale figure customising and head painting now so will aim to force myself to at least start posting on Instagram to try and get commissions.
