I don't mind seeing BW related Kingdom pics of course, but the recent trend of reposting the same images in every applicable thread is certainly not my favorite either.

Cross-posting is allowed and isn't spam. You may not like seeing the same picture in five different threads but as long as the subject is on topic there isn't an issue.

Primal also became significantly bigger because his spark was in a completely new body, not just a reformatted version of his former self.

Wow. £6.40 for Rattrap who is now being re-released for £24.99. That can’t just be inflation.

Kingdom Airazor came in stock so I had to pounce on her. So far she’s the only Kingdom figure I’m interested in- other than Blackarachnia but now that I only have space for my Mp collection + place-holders I can’t be getting multiples of character across various lines.

She’s slotted into the ensemble quite nicely. An MP seems much more likely now.

Also, what’s the deal with the character cards that come with kingdom figures? Do random cards get thrown in with unrelated figures as some sort of crazy incentive to make people buy multiples to collect them all Pokémon style? I got G1 Megatron

Not had Dinobot more than half a day and I’ve ended painting parts of him (gold is custom mix of vallejo silver with some citadel retributor armour mixed in) and sword from Shapeways

not my neatest work but probably still got better survival rate than my MP’s does

If you had to pick 5 Beast Wars era toys (BW, Transmetal, BM, BW2 or Neo) that held up the best that are worth getting now for the first time, what would they be?

If we're talking about the original releases, and not MP or 3P, I'd have to go with:
    1. Optimal Optimus
    2. Tigerhawk
    3. Depthcharge
    4. T2 Megs
    5. T1 Rattrap

Hard to do because I'm such a homer for them, especially some of the unsung ones. There are probably more objectively great figures (ie. some of the Transmetals), but these are some of my personal favorite toys, even to this day:
    • BW Razorclaw - my favorite TF of all-time.
    • BW Tripredacus - I enjoy all three components on their own--I think I'm one of the few who likes Ram Horn the most--but the combined mode is genuinely impressive. It looks like a fiddly nightmare of limbs and wings, but I was stunned by how well it holds together in-hand.
    • BM Buzz Saw - I looked it up awhile ago, but I think this might be the only insect TF ever to actually do something really unique with his wings instead of just having them dangle.
    • BM Night Viper - a really cool transformation and a rare alt mode.
    • there are a bunch of other great toys that warrant a look, but tonight I'd probably go with BW Rampage
Obviously ymmv but I've always appreciated some of the more unique or innovative designs.

Airazor fits right in for now and it's such a great figure as well. That Rhinox statue after all these years still looks fantastic in scale and quality next to those MPs.
That's a banger of a list and photo. I've been on the hunt for an MP-50 and he looks fantastic next to those generations figures.

    Thank you! :)

I have the KO, so if you don't mind that, you can get him for about $90.
    4th Party Masterpiece BW-10 MP-50 Tigatron

I think that the Generations Rattrap fits with the MPs just fine, but Rhinox is waaay too small!! I have mine standing on a black piece of foam that's almost an inch thick, just to get him somewhat in scale. 20210325_004000.jpg

Yeah poor Rhinox, maybe a nice set of platform shoes will do him some good. :lol

The KO MP-50 is a pretty good option and a great display figure but I already have four out of the six released that are official so you know what they say, 'in for a penny, in for a pound.'
