Those are very good points regarding how the character dealt with a bitter situation they were in and that's something I'm never going to fault BM for. There was also how Silverbolt who was basically a knight in shining armor in BW trying to come to terms with how he commit terrible acts in the form of Jetstorm who was everything Silverbolt stood against in BW despite the fact that he was not in control over his actions thus it wasn't really his fault that they happened.

The whole theme of how extremism never solves anything is also something that's sadly practiced too often in the real world and that no matter which side you're one,you shouldn't resort to that. Like how even though Megatron's goals in it were wrong, what Primal attempted to do wasn't any better because he was in the process of trading in one negative extreme for another which makes the moment where Primal came to his senses felt more grand.

Tigerhawk was the brain child of Asaph Fipke, who was an asst producer on BW and a series producer on BM. He didn't like Tigatron, and especially Airrazor. (@Joalro isn't wrong) So he pitched Tigerhawk, while he was setting up BM, with the intention of putting him in. A lot of BM was in motion before Bob Skirr came along.
Furman came in and joined the team, and the first words out of his mouth were "Who can I kill?" So they handed him Tigerhawk, because Hasbro didn't know if they were going to do a toy or not.

Here. Check my notes. I'm not just pulling this out of my ass.

I don't dislike the show in principle. I feel it can be done extremely well given the subject matter. ExoSquad had similar themes and I love that show. But for BM, it is, for me, a case of "hammer it in and break it off." The show would have been a lot more interesting had it been written now, and not 1999, when everything was so GrimDark.

Interesting, I’ve honestly never heard that before, only that there was back and forth throughout season 3 on if tigerhawk would be included or not

I really wish BW had more behind the scenes notes. It's such a treasure trove of information we can normally only speculate at.

Agreed, I’ve always found the behind the scenes stuff we do have to be fascinating

I'm honestly so tempted by that. I'm MUCH more frugle when it comes to non-transforming characters, and my attachment to Transmutate is less than the primary beast wars cast.

If it were like, half the price I would be all over it, but I just can't bring myself to pick it up at $105 CAD. Not with my current budget. It's a shame though, looks like a great piece! I hope they get good support!

Couldn’t believe someone was saying this was too pricey so went and checked-
    She’s $71.69 CAD on show z.
That’s £40 of my GB pounds and, for close to 12 inches of figure of a character who we’ve had no reason to expect would ever receive such a representation, it’s a no-brainer.
Have you checked Show Z or are there additional shipping costs for you?

I was looking at TFSource. That is definitely a far better price, but still more than I'm willing to put out right now.

I don't think it's an unfair price, I think my hopes of price are unfair. Like I said, I'm very frugle with non-transforming figures, and my attachment to the character is less than the main cast. So in terms of whether I'd like the money more or the character, it leans towards the money at that price point. Though it's tempting...

isn’t it a bit strange that almost every episode in the second half of season three introduced a character with a new body. First tm2 Dinobot. Then tm2 cheetor then nothing then tm2 blackarachnia then dragon megatron then togerhawk then the finale. I like the stories of season 3 but every episode was more of a toy commercial than the previous ones

thats in part because they wanted to give individual origins for the upgrades rather than season 2's all in the premiere upgrades. also dont forget that season 3 also introduced depth charge and optimal optimus.

it was more than just the back half
ep1 optimal situation introduces optimal optimus
ep2 deep metal introduces depth charge
ep4 cutting edge introduces the tm2 driver, creating the explicit reason for 3 upgrades
ep5 and ep6 feral scream part 1&2 introduce tm2 dinobot and tm2 cheetor
ep9 crossing the rubicon introduces tm2 blackarachnia
ep10 master blaster introduces tm2 megatron
    ep11 other victories introduces tigerhawk

ep3, 7, 8, 12 and 13 are the only ones in season 3 that dont either set up or introduce new characters

    Love DC... Sobolov rocked it.
Especially because the stasis pods all dropped from orbit like they did at the end of season 1 (have to assume no guidance, and The Gathering not withstanding), one would assume there would have been a lot of aquatic Maximals in a Tigatron situation.

Nope, nope, nope, uh-uh. I will never buy a Transmutate figure as long as I exist on this mudball.
