Seller Lostangel52jr Has also sold a few boxes that I have found to be suspicious. Unused C10 stickersheets, too...

I think I'm just going to assume any auction that says "I only applied Paypal" is a KO. I'd seen the sticker sheets recently, hadn't seen the boxes though. Thanks for alerting us.

Read Lostangel's descriptions. His english is weak, but he usually remembers to say remake or not official. He knows that they are ko but doesn't always come across very clearly. "very excellent condition however it is not a original box ,it is remake."

Hmmm... I just paid for a box just like this one from this same seller. It hasn't arrived yet, but then I just sent payment a few days ago.

    In fact, here's the link:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6042228366&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

I don't particularly care if it's not an original box, but I do think that should be made plain in the listing if it's not the real thing. I'll assume it's the real thing until I can determine otherwise.

I'll keep everyone apprised. I'll post some pictures when it arrives, and see if it looks authentic or not.

that guy is a complete scam. He uses an IL address to fake a US residence ... but ships everything from China.

Hopefully those pics I posted can help you guys...I hate to know that a fan got ripped off. It should be easy to spot these KO's with the darker box.

here's a look if you missed the link:

I've looked at your other pictures on the link that Soundblaster posted, and it does look like the one in the auction I won is a K.O. box. I'm going by the extra grey at the top of the window, and the position of "Formers" under "Trans" being different than the original.

I'm a bit irritated at the scam, but at the same time, a ko box doesn't bother me. I just want a nice looking box to put my childhood Optimus in. I'd rather have known it wasn't real going in, but it's not like I'm not getting a nice box out of the deal.

I think I won't bother to cancel the transaction, but other buyers need to know about these.

oops, I didn't mean to say "scam" as in rip people off ... but "scam" as in faking a US residence and giving the impression that he ships from IL.

Some people don't trust overseas sellers, and this guy is one ... and hides it on purpose.

Quite a few sellers do so. Both for legitimate (selling for friends/family) and unlegitimate reasons (scams). However, if their feedback is okay, then usually the items are also okay. And the items aren't always bootlegs, either.

I've dealt with Lostangel, both on ebay and directly for some other stuff. He seems to be just another transfan. His shipping was very fast as well.

For some reason, when you look at his feedback, you can't view the item sold, or is it just my browser?

Some of them(probably the boxes and KO cassette 'reissues') are marked private. If you cant get to most of them, it is your browser.

    Overseas sellers rock!

I got my last shipment from him in a single week and the boxes were packed in a bubble pack, not paper. That is very odd. Did you talk to him about this?
