Has anyone ordered a substandard item from BBTS? If so, how are they?
I'm eying an item and there's only that option so I wanted to do some research on how the items are when you get them, aside from the packaging.

 

Anytime I ordered a substandard item from BBTS the toy inside the package is fine. Now the packaging could run from beat to heck to just kind of not "mint". If you are a MISB/MOC person I would shy away from substandard as an option. If you are like me and rip everything open then shouldn't be a big deal.

I split an order of 3 jet vehicons with a guy at work. Initially we only did 2, then later we added one more. When the 3rd was added, all they had left was "substandard" but we both didn't care. When they came, I stared at all 3 boxes under really good light for a good 10 mins trying to figure out which was the "bad" one, and couldn't. I finally saw some very light scratches on the side of one, likely where they razor'd open the case and cut through on accident.

 

Ah thanks for the input. I don't really care for the packaging for that specific set, so I might just throw the boxes away.
