Preordered! Well kinda, buddy preordered mine with his. But still, can't wait!

 

Just add 10,000 or some other crazy number to your cart. It will modify your cart to reflect the actual in-stock inventory (or preorder stock).

 

Have the TFCC Seacons from a while back (which are really expensive now). So I don't think I should order this set. But that looks like a good price and the packaging is nice... No I shouldn't. I really shouldn't (preordered). Shoot!

 

There have been online exclusive 7 packs for GI Joe (although it was a shared exclusive for multiple online stores), so it's not entirely a first for Hasbro. Maybe no brick & mortar stores wanted this and then they offered it to BBTS.

 

I had to get these and so caved. The $10 price bump is irritating, but getting a mint G1 reissue Seacon set is a bargain and comes out less than what was charged for Encore Bruticus. Definite win regardless.

Judging by the current pre-order levels, it appears there was 1000 in the July shipment and 3000 in the August shipment. For a grand total of 4000 pieces. Assuming they don't make any more.

 

I agree, I would have liked it at the $49.99 price point that was shown at Botcon, but I looked at it this way. BBTS is basically charging $10 a figure. Not bad when you think about it.

 

I should have clarified my earlier posts. I have been keeping track of the 59.99 August preorders. But I do think that 3000 number for the August preorder sounds right.

Yea, so much for the $49.99. I know it's only $10 more but for some, that's enought to be a deal breaker, ntm when you add on the $9-10 for shipping. Now a figure that could have been had for $50 is now $70 and that's if your willing to wait for it. Gotta have it now? Total: $85

 

this is USA only via BBTS, that doesnt necessarily mean its not available elsewhere in the world though, eg robotkingdom seem to have preorders up for it.

 

That's interesting. Certainly gives the international customers an option with Robotkingdom. Exclusive for multiple online stores then?
