It's sounding more and more like a brand new universe rather than an update. That I don't like. Frankly it looks like nothing more than another I, Robot (e.g. slapping a name on an unrelated project). I can really see a G1 movie set in the 80s and taking directly from the cartoon/comics (minus the silly stuff) going over really well with today's audience.

If the military is involved, I think this will make it easier for the film to use real aircraft for the decepticons, like the F-22 or JSF for the seekers.

I just think it's neat that Bay even responds to us. I mean...when the first movie came out, I didn't know anything about it, or that it even existed until the preview trailers.

Probably not. I'm giving Bay the benefit of the doubt for the moment.

But if it doesn't happen. So be it.

I would definetly like to see some JSF seekers its not the coolest design but its the least exploited one.

    What are you on?
    J/K
Are you sure your not letting nostalgia effect your judgement
Cause non of that could possibly go over well with todays audience.

I love Ironside as Darkseid in STAS,JL and JLU But I would prefer they tap his services for Galvatron.

The other nice thing about the JSF for the movie is that it would help get more public attention for it, it's bigger than the F22, and it can hold a much wider arsenol of weapons than the F22 (the F22 is a pathetic aircraft anyways). Oh, and both aircrafts have stealth.

The "silly stuff" was PART of what made the cartoon... Plus, everyone will have a different idea what makes the "silly stuff" and what could be kept without being "silly".

    Also... Thanks to Maidel:
