I wish Forza 4 was on PS3, between that and GT5 my racing wheel would get so much use.   That reminds me, I need to pay off the rest of BF3, but I'll be at college when it comes out, does that mean I have to pre-order it at the one on campus?    

 

It means you have to pay it off at whatever store you already have an order at, or cancel your order there/get money back/repreorder.

Even if it's just to keep the pace up, I still find it lame. To go from under attack to completely safe just isn't fair sometimes, especially when pressing a single button will give you an instant advantage, i.e. getting shot by an assault class or sniper then warping into the driver seat of a tank or apc, just ain't fair.

 

Yeah, I can see what your saying, but I just don't think it will work yet with today's gamers as a whole.

FUUUUUU- welp I just gave in and installed Origin, gonna pre-order.

 

I'm not sure if I'm gonna pre-order or not. Are there things you can get from pre-ordering that you can't get in the limited edition set?

 

You get a map or map pack, can't remember. Also get early access to some weapons. That new multiplayer trailer is sick. MOTHER FRIGGING JETS!!!!!!!

Yeah, the "Limited Edition" Physical Warfare Pack and Back to Karkand is the pre-order, and Origin throws in some beta access. Not sure where I plan to find the time to play any beta with RO2 soon and TOR testing.

Don't know why I was so reluctant to just give in to Origin, I knew TOR will probably be using it. It's even showing my TOR CE pre-order where I registered it on swtor.com.

Anyway back to topic, that trailer pushed me off the fence from all the Origin nonsense and the game will be mine.

 

I could pick up the limited edition on release night at my local walmart most likely. Just like every other game that's been released recently with "special" and "limited" editions the shelves will be overstocked with them for weeks. But if pre-ordering it is the only way to get back to karkland and the likes I guess I'll preorder it. Just need to get my PC parts bought and assembled first.

 

Origin is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I used it to play the Battlefield 3 Alpha and also got to use the Battlelog website and they worked great. Origin just serves as a game/player manager.

Yeah, you'll have to pay for the pack when it's released if you don't get the limited edition. (it's not a day-one expansion pack, they're going to activate it a few weeks after release)

Also, with the Origin preorder you can download and install the game before it's release date, so you can jump right in when they make it available.

 

Commo rose confirmed for PC. I wasn't that big of a fan of it in BF2. I'm kinda glad that it's not for consoles because that would take up a button that could be used for something else and could get in the way. I'm glad the PC players got that because that's another thing off the list that PC player keep complaining about in forums. Only 9,235 more things to mark off that list.

True, I just fall into the "Steam is already doing just fine for me, and it's not like Origin is offering anything better than Steam except that games are becoming exclusive to" category. Oh well, I guess you just go where the game is and deal with it.
