43,000,000 kills, baby. We get to play "Air Superiority". Also, I like how everyone commenting on the article have to automatically go "console wars" with the number of exclusives the PS3 has and "ofcourse they got it, the 360 is a FPS console, we have variety".
After playing for a week I can't stand this game anymore. I've played since the original 1942 and I've never had this many problems playing a Battlefield game. If it's not getting two shot by some infantry after unloading a clip into them or getting blown up a seconded after spawning, it is waiting at the deck of the aircraft carrier because some idiots took all the boats without taking passengers. Also throw in the fact that I've played over 20 games and never been on a winning team and it gets to not be any fun.
People are idiots like that in most any game. I get the idiots who shoot you if you move towards or take off in "their" airplane. Face it players are idiots. My gripe is mainly I sit there and shoot a guy with a clip from the machine gun and then die when they shoot me once.. I have had fun. Like i said one time I was sniping from the light house and noticed an enemy captured the flag below me and was coming up. I tossed a bomb pack near the ladder hole and waited for him to get up and them BOOM he went flying!. hehehehe.
Yeah, there are times when it can be fun, but it seems that more often than not I am getting destroyed by something completely out of my control no matter what class I play or vehicle I use.
Yeah, I get very fustrated sometimes, but i get used to it. My advice, play some Air Superiority and take a break from the main gametype. It's fun, less fustrating and it's also good for flight practice. When you go back to regular conquest mode, don't go all gun-ho and try to help capture every base. Instead once you capture one or two. Go on the defense and protect a base. Also, try to team up with two or three other soldiers. That way you have back-up and your not a singular target. It's a fun game once you think some things through. I don't play much anymore since I already have all the achievement. I'm sure I'll start up when new maps show up, though.
Don't use the soldier if you're on the Japenese team. That gun is horse shit, I can never out shoot anyone with it. The Rifleman is a bit over powered. The rifle grenade murders and can be used pretty well from any distance. I change classes based on how lazy I'm feeling. Pretty lazy I'll do my typical BF42 tactic of sniping, which means staying in one spot for the whole round unless I'm found. Some what lazy I'll grab the Rifleman or Soldier and defend flags. If I'm pumped or playing with friends then I'll grab the rifleman and assualt anything and everything. If I feel like being a dumb ass I'll just drive back and forth in a jeep holding down the horn the whole time. I had one of those great BF moments last night. I was playing on Iwo Jima and was in a tank near the lighthouse. I took a few pot shots at a tank near the airfield when another one starts to roll up on me. I got in one shot but he had hit me first. I used my second shot to shoot out the bridge he was now crossing, the tank slammed into the hill and exploded. Unfortunatley it counted as a suicide so I only got assist points. I'm down to needing the Vehicle assist postcard and 3 or 4 stamps to finish off my award page.
